I think it's more the time slot than anything else. I liked Shinkenger but like hell I would've watched it at 7 AM.

Now, I would haul myself out of bed at 7:30 for Kamen Rider + PreCure.

Sentai airs at 7:30 and Rider airs at 8:00, so I don't think it's too bad.

Japanese make less children now (at least this is what I heard), so more child oriented show get less viewer...

There are children's shows all over the place on Japanese TV.

I think Changeman aired at 6:00 PM. And it had very high ratings. Though I think the ratings system was handled differently during the Showa Era. And when the Heisei Era started with Turboranger, the ratings drastically changed. Still, I wonder why the shows have to air so early? Why not in the evenings?

Sentai aired at different times back then, it wasn't until a few episodes in during Megaranger did it begin to air in its current time. Ratings systems haven't changed, there's just more on TV now than ever before, so viewer attention is split.

Ooooh, wow. That makes perfect sense. Though the children rate declining is true. The fact that there are so many shows nowadays, forcing people to actually not know what to choose makes much sense also.

Very, even though 7.5% is low for it, those numbers would be high for a series like Kiva. Double's first episode was the most watched since like...an early Den-O episode and the only one to hit the double digits since one of Kabuto's first episodes.
