The New Ratings Thread

You gotta remember, kids go to school on Saturdays, so that plays into it as well. A third series was not done for other reason than just ratings.

It was on average a full ratings point lower than the last Tomica Hero show (in the same time slot). But I think toy sales have more to do with whether these shows are considered "successful" or not, just like DVD/merch sales mean more than ratings in anime.

They still go to school on saturdays? Huh, thought they changed that. Guess not.

Would it be possible to find any numbers for the toy sales of each series? If that's what keeps the show alive, I'd love to see that.

Now sure how accurate these area, buuut I saw this posted some time ago on 2chan.

Cool, I hope Epic six had a great rating also, because it was story driven and had a mecha appearance.

I really loved Shinkenger! It's so weird how the ratings for SS are so low. In my opinion, I started watching SS since Deka, but PR since the beginning. I can honestly say that although with time, storylines have become more children oriented, compared to DaiRanger to now, it's such a HUGE difference. I wonder what the reason for decline in ratings?
