Hm, that sorta makes me curious too. The prototypes are the grey ones, but sometimes a few releases doesn't have any grey prototype photos before they started bumping out the colored figure pictures like Stronger and New Kuuga and now W. Does it mean that they are rushed or just that they started at a different starting point?

Let's wait a bit... My opinion is that this W version is just the prototype or pre-production model. They can still make changes to it. I'd probably end up getting it anyway... If I have money... :laugh:

I remember seeing Ken selling that Thebee on Yahoo auction last week.. It went for not more than 10,000 Yen.

That's less than paying for a limited release and sending it overseas :x I'd buy it

Well mostly (though I think the trend has stopped) we'd get concept arts of the SIC even before it's released, and then get a prototype picture in a monthly hobby magazine. But I think with W since it was shown in the 50th Model Show, that they rushed out a painted prototype? And Oblivion does have a point, both Stronger and New Kuuga didn't have any prototypes listed at all in hobby magazines, but those seen in shows or magazines, are exactly the same as they are when sold.

Guess Ando needs to fix up W before they announce a release date, which would give him plenty of time.

sadly I agree its not like this is some prototype on ebay that you see all the time :S at least with other companies ...

Lives probably in Asia. As for getting those in less than 2 years, means the person is most probably single and has a high paying job. I wish I had a high paying job... :disappoin..... grass cutting is almost at its end... hehehe
