Hm, the mouth really doesn't turn me off as much as it does for you guys. I kinda actually like the idea that Mr.Monk stated. But...dude, of all things, why are the horns not sharp!?

At larger resolution, Double's face doesn't look as bad as the smaller pics led me to believe. That said, I completely agree that it's odd for him to have squared off fins, rather than sharp ones.

Stability maybe? More plastic prevents the horns from bending.

I have to agree with you on that one. I don't know whether the SIC design has warmed up to me, but I too am liking the mouth design once seeing the higher resolution picture. To me it's kinda like Ando's way of SIC-ing W, with what MrMonk said about two pieces wrapping around a silver body. ie. the part that will become CJX. Pretty cool I think, so good job Ando you convinced me to get this version of W.

And the horns did irk me at first, but not as much as the mouth design, so not such a big deal for me.

They're kinda angled, so I wouldn't take that much of a risk doing that. If worse comes to worse then I'll use (argh I forgot what it's called) the plastic sheet that's available at most local hobby shops. Safer that way IMO.

EDIT: The name I forgot was pla-plates.

They could just use ABS or supply an extra ABS antenna if they didn't want it to bend.

Yeah, that's why I went with 'maybe'. I can't see why one would purposefully use that design.

Could be it. But you could use die-cast on it. Speaking of which, anyone spotted the die-cast on Double yet? I haven't been looking around hard enough to see.

It probably hasn't even been decided yet, since we usually get a grey sculpt picture first with the clear / die-cast parts highlighted. The one we're seeing doesn't even have clear eyes.
