an other figure I totally want to buy!!!!!! Vega form looks really really good up close! He totally does look like he can FFR into a jet LOL Though I hate FFR I love the "jet" look in the armor even if its not jet based that is what it reminds me of

... anyone else suspicious as to why the hands are designed that way? You can swap the top of each hand for different plates. Would it be ridiculous to think that it's a placeholder for future forms? If this Kuuga was just a one-off release, wouldn't you figure they'd just include extra hands for Amazing Mighty?

Maybe they'll just release limited attachments to get the other forms...

To people complaining about how W isn't SIC enough, I say look at Kuuga. To be honest I can't even consider anything SIC about Kuuga SIC release, unless someone is willing to point it out.

^ It's more in line with the SICs created from Ryuki onwards. Muscular, exagerated headsculpt features, bluish-green veins where applicable to break up the black. That's why Agito got redone, that's why Kuuga is getting redone. Now all the Heisei leads have the same style. I mean, look at Hibiki or Blade and try claiming they're significantly different from the original design.

The original idea might've been to make SICs look like monsterous incarnations of the original characters, but since an overwhelming majority don't fit that characteristic, it's time to accept the purpose of SICs has changed.

And for record, Gouram is fairly stylized.

Is it just me, or does that version of Kuuga look like a kid? :sly:

With it's great big puppy eyes, give it some candy!

I just hope with this 'Decade Edition' Kuuga blah blah, it'll give them reason to do a Kiwami Kuuga, so that some of us will have the option to finish the Heisei 10 via the Kiwami line. Because as we all know, it doesn't look like Bandai has any plans to re-issue Hibiki and Blade.

ryatwo, I agree that the new Kuuga isn't very S.I.C. at all. I was referring to the old one when making the comparison of what the sculpters managed to do with it.

The other culprits would be Kiva and Hibiki. I'm actually very pleased with what they did with Blade by stylising the head/eyes and making the chest armour much less clunky.

I just got my Stronger, which kind of sucks. Because it was shipped later than my other package, which I shipped earlier because I wanted it first!

^ Blade got reissued in 2007. Hibiki got released in 2006, a year before the others got reissued. Hibiki's technically the only Heisei lead that didn't get a reissue, but there was that Miazora recolor that was released for the Hong Kong Imagination promotion a year later.
