if i had a local shop that caters to these things then i'd be there in a heart beat. however i don't cause i live in the central united states where there is little of this kind of stuff.

It's way more convienent being able to go in and get your **** then having to wait for two weeks for it to arrive.

yup yup yup. i hate it sometimes i think i should just move over there then i realize that i like it in America cause I like big butts i cannot lie! and i've not met an Asian yet with a nice back side.

Oooh yeah, the thrill of the hunt...it makes trips to the mall that much more exciting.

Not for me... I HATE toy hunting. At least in North America, I hate it. For some reason, I don't mind it so much in HK (or Japan) though. Nonetheless, I'd rather have stuff reserved for me and getting confirmation from the store telling me "it's in" and then I go pick it up guaranteeing my trip to not be an empty-handed waste.

Don't the local stores get it like 2 weeks (or more) later?
So basically, it's still the same... you still have to wait either way.

Eh,yeah true...but I like that feeling you get, when you walk into a store and go "ooh! They have that now!:

I don't get that feeling as much myself... usually I look at the price and say to myself "I can get 2 of these for this price" and then put it down. Hell, I think the people at Toys2 might be sick of me always "window shopping" (well, more like "eye shopping") everytime I go in there.

At least you have somewhere to go to in Canada, EMP. There's nothing close to me that sells the Tokusatsu figures. There's probably some in California where Alung comes from or in NY. I myself would like to be able to gawk at the items first before purchasing them and decide if I can afford it.... It's always nice to do some window shopping - at the least if you don't have any moolah in your pocket. :castlerock:

Great Toys Online here in the Philippines regularly get new stuffs a week or less after the figure is released in Japan. Much better than their previous time span of 1 - 2 months.

Well, obviously, since you're in the Asia region. It's the same in Hong Kong too.

Yeah, I've bought some items from them before. Thanks to Malvin.
