Lustful Butchery Throwing Some Justice! May 28, 2009 #1 Which type of Japanese sword is better? The tachi? Or a katana?
JFC ♥ 大好き ♥ May 28, 2009 #2 Just so that everyone has an idea of what the actual differences are between these 2 swords: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katana Speaking VERY generally, the tachi is longer and has more curve in it's blade compared to the katana. Both are excellent swords, but I I had to choose only one, personally, I'd have to go with the katana.
