Well, to be fair, Kenzaki wasn't very interesting, IMO. Wasn't his entire backstory that his parents died in a fire? And he was the typical "gold hearted hero", which works sometimes, but it just felt uninspired, considering the other three who had much deeper characters. Again, all of this is my opinion. So why would Toei go after the extra rider to reprise the role in person (Garrren), instead of the main rider Blade? People like the main riders more. That puts seats in theaters. Mach, Zeronos and Garren team up better be amazing. Odd choices from Toei.
Yeah I know but I was just thinking out loud about what's the point in doing so.
Because you'd think it'd be the suspense and mystery of the movie that would entice people to watch a movie.
Like the whole Sango thing was built up as a mystery and they didn't say much about him.
That got me really hyped for the movie, but then more and more info started coming out and we got practically all the key scenes in trailers and scans.
Heck, we even got Sango's henshin sequence!
Really, the only thing I'm looking forward to now is the Blade reunion (Which will probably be ruined by the Shocker subplot) and the returning Riders' henshins and interactions.
I guess the only good thing about all this is that it saves me from disappointment
Yes, it has been like that for a while. Recent years, though, have brought surprises you wouldn't know if you've been only following official stuff, like Ambassador Darkness' true identity last year, or the fact that one of Hongo's transformations AND battle between the Heisei team and Showa teams happen AFTER they have saved the day.^ It's been like that for years, I dont think Toei sees that as a problem
He had a side to him that would come up sometimes. Really, the only time he seems like a generic good guy is in the firs episode, before the collapse of BOARD. That side to him that I'm talking about was a more reserved one, akin to Takumi. "Don't bother me. I'm busy dealing with my own demons." It's just not that apparent when you put him next to the other, more brooding, Riders.Well, to be fair, Kenzaki wasn't very interesting, IMO. One of the first scans for the movie showed Rider 3 doing a triple Rider Kick with 1 and 2. Really, he wouldn't have the "Rider 3" name and get promoted as the movie's main character if he were really a villain.
It's really predictable (And shown in a previous scan), but isn't that like a major spoiler for the movie?
I never get why the ending or scenes from the climax are spoiled outright in the trailers and promotion.
The worse offender was The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
I swear you could watch the entire movie if you strung together the lot of 10 minute footage promo clips and the various trailers.
Seriously what's the point in doing that?
It's not like its an incentive to watch the movie either since you pretty much get the jist of it just by following all the promotion.

You can still have the title of "Kamen Rider" and still be a villain though...
The Taisen movies are flopping in Japanese box offices, its so predictable and formula based. Toei just doesnt care about a good plot for these movies. They'd practically repeated the same thing 4 times since SHT in 2012.
Something of a case of "why bother going to see it when you can see your favourite Sentai team in the next movie in two weeks?"
Well, they could have thrown in some older teams then. Although, I'm starting to think that they kept the "Super Hero Taisen" title just because "Kamen Rider Taisen GP - Kamen Rider 3" would sound really redundant.
Didn't Eternal also get that treatment?Sure, there are evil Riders, but you don't see them getting to be titular Riders. SHTGP:KR3's logo gives more emphasis to "Kamen Rider 3" than anything else..
