Why do people always complain about "they're too young/too old!" What difference does it make?

I don't remember anyone saying Hidenori Tokuyama looked too old when he played Go-on Gold, and he was the same age as Ryouma Baba will be for this series ...

He's not a core team member though.

That said, going for non-supermodel looking folk means Takebe must have something up her sleeve - like a female civilian ally/later team addition as fanservice?

It's weird...some casts, like Gokaiger's, I really think they're lying about their ages, Hollywood style. Ryota Ozawa has to be pushing 30, come on! And Mao Ichimichi has to be in her mid-20s. But the Gobusters, they could all claim to be younger, and possibly get away with it.

As far as the Gobusters are confirmed, I really only think yellow looks young. It looks like her face has a lot of adolescent qualities to it. The others, while I don't think they look old, they could at least go for early 20s.

no biggie but Baba is a bit older
Tokuyama was 26 in 2008. Baba just turned 27 two weeks ago
so i guess he is the oldest member in like, forever ? on the other hand Red Buster is the youngest or possibly 2nd youngest Red ever

I don't think that's gonna happen considering Miura has had multiple lead roles. BTW, I hope you were joking about this.

Honestly, I don't judge characters on how the actors look. Since I only care on how the show is going to be handled. So I would rather wait & see until Go-Busters first episode.

I am surprised at Baba since he is a bit more established than the usual ex-models or debuting idols just starting their careers - he's been around for a while and has quite a few stage and TV credits. But then the same was true of Hiroki Aiba before Shinkenger

Yeah she's cute but she looked different on the pamphlet. Her hairstyle looks really old school.

She's got similar features to Ptera pinks actress

I find it interesting they're going for a old school looking cast.

They look like they belong in the late 90's or 2000

No dyed hair and males that look like females.

Where's the one actor with bleach blonde hair, the other with 15 ft spiky hair and the girl with blue eye contacts!!

future cast members will probably fill all those requirements

I love how repetitive we are. Every year it's like pre-first episode "I don't like the Shinkengers!" to post first-episode "The Shinkengers are awesome!" We care so much about sunday morning children's live-action tv shows. So much.
