If you really need some one to "sell you" on watching more, then chances are you won't want to watch more anyway.

I dunno. Like let's say I had had trouble getting into Cutie Honey the Live and someone told or "sold" me that [hide]Honey later goes berserk, Fish Lady becomes final boss and Miki sacrifices herself[/hide], that would interest me into watching more.

My biggest problem with Faiz was that I didn't like any of the riders; Takumi Inui is not merely reluctant but actively fights against being Faiz for a good chunk of the early episodes, the secondary rider is one of my most hated and despised characters ever, and the third rider is an utterly useless lump lacking any real purpose to his existence.

Plus, LOL, no one can communicate, and LOL, endless love triangles.

I think Faiz is a great series and only suffers from its lackluster ending as well as using the 'Kusaka being a jerk' and 'Characters suffering from a lack of communication' plot too many times.

Other than that, I find the series phenomenal, from its action to its overall story line about the Orphenochs, Smart Brain, Ryuseijuku etc. Like the post above me mentioned, the main trio of riders aren't everyone's favorites, but I feel like the story more than makes up for it.

That being said, it's a hit and miss series for everyone. It has some great moments and it has some less than stellar moments, but I personally think the good moments outweigh the bad portions of the show.

Faiz is really the only Rider series I outright dislike. Even Kiva had the awesomeness of Otaya. But other than the rider gear, I didn't like any of the characters. Were these guys supposed to be friends? They barely talk to each other about anything. Not to mention Takumi was extremly depressing at times. And Faiz has a problem of the plot going in circles so a lot of the time it's drama for drama sake.

The only stuff I like about Faiz: The theme song, Kiba, Seiji Takaiwa's suit acting on Faiz, and the concept.

Everything else was god awful to me. Hated all the characters. Plots went in circles. Communication skills were awful. The concept is wasted. The villains are all really incompetent. The show is too scared to take risks in it's own way. And in the way I am referring to, is that the show is way too obsessed with trying too be dark, gritty, and depressing, rather than actually telling a good fun story. Yup, easily down there with OOO, RX, Decade, and Kabuto as one of my least favorites. I really wanted to like it though, but oh well. :disappoin

While at once Glam cannot disagree with the complaints lodged on Faiz in this thread thus far, he still likes the series.

The plot goes in circles, the main characters are all basically unlikeable (especially the secondary rider), there's drama for drama's sake, needless attempts to be dark, no ending, and lackluster villains.

The show is more about the interpersonal relationships than the action or the overarching plot. The plot itself however, is actually quite compelling...ya know, when they actually pay any attention to it. Though really, what kept me coming back to it is the Faiz (and Kaixa and Delta) Gear itself and the action.

The suit acting is just phenomenal with some truly excellent fight choreography (with a few missteps). It's one of the only rider shows where the fights seem to have a goal, I.E. to use a finishing attack. That's just not something a lot of rider shows do. Mostly you have no idea why the characters don't just use finishers from the beginning...but in Faiz you get a real feeling that they're TRYING the whole time to find an opening for one.

Also there are a lot of different finishers between the Pointer/Kick, Punch, Sword, Autovaijin's bullets, and all of Delta and Kaixa's stuff. Plus multiple forms. There's a lot to like in the action and suits from Faiz.

555 has some really great fight scenes. The Orphenochs are really interesting and unique. I will admit, I had a hard time getting into 555 at first myself, and then by episode 10 I was loving it. Unfortunately, I personally think the last 10 episodes of the show are absolutely dreadful and ruin the show on a massive level. It's like they got the middle 30 episodes right, but had no idea how to start it or how to end it. Instead, they threw in the most random **** and make it so convoluted in hopes it will hide the poor writing as it sounds complex.

Is this not a discussion board? Is the point of a discussion board not to discuss? Some series just aren't worth it. I wished I had left Go-Buster at episode 15 because the series was not worth the hours I wasted on it. I would rather inform someone to not waste their time with it rather than be disappointed with it in the end. Why watch something you are unsure about and not enjoying in an hour or two when you can use that time on something you are enjoying?

Ignore this. Faiz is a fantastic show if you give it a little time. That being said if you get to episode 10 and find its not working for you, then it might not be for you. I love the characters of faiz, the action, the suits, the music. Its all a wild wild ride. Its the only tokusatsu to make me shed a tear (not counting doubles second to last episode.

Yes its a bit of an Inoue plot and you kinda want to slap some people and take them to group council, but if you can get into it Faiz has a lot of awesome moments

It's got some good moments...but it can get just as bad as any other rider show.
As long as you slogged through the middle of OOO's, or the end of Kabuto, or f@cking Amazons' world then you could watch 555.
