Samurai Sentai Shinkenger - Talk Up!

It was awesome to see the Shinken-Oh and the old combinations again (i was quite happy the Zen Samurai Gattai Disk wasn't used at all lol) in Act 42 and it scores more points with the revelations about Akumaro's plans and Juuzou and Uramasa ...

Please stop insulting Takeru; it's breaking my heart.

You want proof he's not a failure as a Red?

Despite his authority as a Lord, he still learns life lessons from people who are supposedly lower in position and authority than him; like how he learned that he can't keep having this tough exterior and be afraid of getting weaker from Kotoha in Act 41.

Takeru is awesome. and he's so cute too

Red Hawk (melodramatic, maybe, but not as bad as Takeru). GaoRed began as a rather awkward character but had matured a lot by the end of the series. TyrannoRanger. GingaRed.

ladycocoanut is at it again.....

Takeru is the best Red Senshi since AbaRed.

AbaRed was moronic and weak. He was like Mako - the show loved to highlight how he was the "compassionate" one.

You really are rather hung up on Takeru, aren't you? :eyebrow: he IS hot, though - although I think the actor is cuter when he isn't playing Takeru

You mean Red Hawk. I don't recall a Red Condor in Jetman.

Maybe it's the bastard child of Gai and Ryu?

Anyways I like Takeru's character because he actually shows that he is team leader of the group. I was actually surprised that he has a deep voice when ep 1 came out. When I 1st saw him, he looked really young and I thought he was going to have an annoying voice.

Personally, Go-On red is worst one out there because he is just on speed 24/7.

Takeru's okay. He's not the best Red out there, but I wouldnt go as far as calling him the worst.

Yeah, he's not a personal favorite, but I wouldn't throw him out a window if given the chance.

That makes him a major step up from the passel of comedy-oriented reds we've had this Decade! A few recent Reds were almost completely the reason I stopped watching their shows.

I think the last Red I really, seriously liked as a character was freaking TimeRed.
(BoukenRed, much like Takeru, was tolerable and okay and all, but not especially great.)
