Samurai Sentai Shinkenger rumor/picture thread

That said, I do find it really weird that the end of this plot line is going to be Takeru... you know, becoming Shinken Red again. That just seems to be a really weird payoff to the revelation that he has never really been himself.

Instead of finding his "true power" in his own mojikara, he's just going to go back to... being someone else again, but now all legal-like and everything. That's kinda... I don't know, that feels like it defeats the point a bit.

Probably would have been better/more interesting if they started this arc back in the 30's. I feel like they introduced this little plot thread to free Takeru up for a couple episodes so he could go fight Juuzou. It just doesn't seem like there is any other reason for this.

It seems like this TWEEST was planned for Takeru from the beginning, all things considered. I agree that I don't see why the plotline wasn't started sooner, it's not the show didn't have a run of, like... 10+ episodes where nothing interesting happened.

I get your point, that it is probably better regarding character growth for Takeru to be his own Shinkenger and not be just a legal Shinkenred, but the whole team really needs him as a leader, that I guess is the reason why his character is heading to that direction.
