Samurai Sentai Shinkenger rumor/picture thread

I think it's one of those clips that you have to see the full episode to appreciate the WTF-ness of it. It's one of the longer clips I chose to be a WTF Moment, so I thought I had captured at least most of the WTF-ness. :laugh:

The episode just goes on as normal, and then Hikaru proposes to Urara out of the blue, and then all of a sudden Osamu pulls out his Magi-phone and does a spell that creates a freaking chapel. On top of that, Smokey -- at one point -- was ordained a minister over the internet. It's no Hiroshi Miyauchi dressed like Hitler, of course, but...:shrug:

P.S. Shinken Gold looks like he'll be as annoying as Richard Brown. :disappoin

I guess I'm just immune to that one since I've seen all of Magiranger. I suppose if you hadn't seen any of it it would be a WTF.

I'd forgotten that the wedding happened 30 seconds after she accepted his proposal, though. And Smokey is always a riot. :laugh:

The wedding part in Magiranger just reminded me of Piper and Leo's wedding in Charmed, so it kind of didn't really shock me that much. It was kind of just as random in that show only they did it cuz their wedding day just kept getting royally f-ed up.

I think Charmed was one of the inspirations behind Magiranger too, so that might explain it. The Heavenly Saints were a lot like the Elders in Charmed. Sometimes so much so that I have to actually make myself remember what specifically happened in Magiranger.

I dunno, for me, maybe it wasn't that WTF just because I know of another show that's similar.
