S.H.Figuarts Thread: G4!

Argh. I want to get G Den-O so bad, but I don't have the funds to get it. And I'm not a big huge Faiz fan, and everything else that was put on preorder, I have no interest in getting, so yay for my wallet.

I am new to Riders and new to Figuarts. Till a few weeks ago all I had seen was about half of Dragon knight. But then the addiction grew and grew and now...here I am.

So being new to this line I need a catch up on some of the toy basics. I've been a toy collector my whole life and I know there are always hidden bits n pieces in the lines to know. What figures work, what dont, what has problems and what doesnt. Whats stupidly hard to get, that kind of thing.


So! Here I have:

Faiz (Love it! So many cool features and variations)
Akigo G3 (Also a great toy. Havnt seen Agito: Is the sword supposed to fold up for any reason? Does it store that way? Is his gun supposed to be able to store in some way I can't figure out?)
Decade Violent Emotion (A little lanky, but a great toy overall. Tempted to buy the other version with the cards though.)
W Cyclone Joker (Sheer, utter perfection. LOVE it!)

G3's sword and gun attachments are meant to store in his bike. As I understand it this doesn't actually work with the Figuarts version, but that's what it did on the show. And don't spring for a second Decade just for the cards, there's a .pdf floating around somewhere that has to-scale cards that you can print off yourself. Much cheaper than buying the figure again.

As for other things, if you liked Dragon Knight you may want to grab the version of Ryuki that's coming out in August - has both the Rider himself and his dragon. Looks very badass. Also, you should get Black. I say this out of 100% pure bias.

And I'd try to find Agito Trinity instead of Agito Flame if you decide to go for it. Comes with both weapons and some more spare hands for your Ground Form.

i'm glad that these Showa riders are coming with effect parts. i hope they continue this trend with most if not all future releases.
