Well, he isn't a one hit wonder. He's been successful before Gangnam Style. It just happened to went viral worldwide.

Hes popular in korea and the asian areas.he has toured with well known K-pop groups but he only gained more and more fame cause of his hit Gangnam style.He will be known cause of Gangnam style but I dont see him having a great hit like this.

I can tell you first hand living here that he is not popular in Japan and K-Pop with artists like Kara, Shoujo Jidai, Super Junior and Big Bang all the rage in Japan, PSY is not really talked much about nor will you see him on the big screen TVs in Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro walkways
