Like I said, it is *THE* reason to watch PROO.

Not just for the revelation itself, though that too was fantastically handled. But Mack goes through a tremendous dark period over what he realizes he is, before we reach the finale, and how he... handles his life.

And actually, the first hint was in the premiere. After Mack gets zapped by the DNA scrambler thingy, Spencer whispers to Hartford that he recalibrated the machine "just for him." In other words, instead of altering his non-existent DNA, it probably just deactivated limiters inside his body to allow him to be stronger. (his unmorphed power was super strength)

The Mack being a robot stuff was the best part of OO. Not saying much, but hey. It was handled a little awkwardly, and not without its issues.

The only thing that would have made that final battle better (beside toning down all the kalish-fu) would have been to see Mack defeat Flurious with nothing but his Drive Defender (maybe the vest) and some of his electrical inner workings exposed! A sort of last ditch effort. Now THAT would have been a great epic ending and physical damage would have made it far more obvious that iMack was damaged beyond repair.

Nah, this is the first Battlizer to defeat a big bad since Lost Galaxy.

I'm glad they put emphasis back on why it is the power-up.

I guess... still... a final hit from the basic weapon is still pretty cool wouldn't you say? It could have played out with the Sentinel Ranger knocking Flurious back to basic form, throwing the crown off, only for some last minute shot to knock Mack out of Sentinel Ranger mode and the two would go at each other.

Bonus points if the Rangers and the rest of the world are frozen in ice and Mack has to hurry up before its irreversible. :buttrock:

My opinion, I think the final battle would have been dramatic if Mack actually performed the kamakazi explosion on Flurious. Think of it, electric spark while in Sentinel normal mode, "Using all the power I got." Glows in a bright Gold color, grabs Flurious and holds him down, then KABOOM. Flurious dies and Mack is still intact but then system shuts down for good as he bid his last farewell and dies.
