Power Rangers RPM

Are you suggesting there are people who acknowledge/see/buy/play with Power Rangers action figures, but have no idea it's a television series?

I'm pretty sure there are. I don't think that's too far fetched to believe.

Though maybe "aware of" isn't the right choice of words. They're probably aware of it, but don't watch it or know it's still on the air.

Yeah, people are aware of the TOYS, but that doesn't mean people are aware of the SHOW.

......:eyebrow:.......wow.

You just seem very oblivious, no offense. I mean, whether you realize it or not, PR is a common house hold name. And seriously, people buying toys but not realizing that the show is still around? Come on.

Is that really that far fetched? They still make Transformers toys even when there's no show airing. And if PR is really so high selling (which I believe it is, I'm not denying that) and EVERY single person who buys the toys watches the show, the show should be one of the highest rated kids shows on TV. Is it? **** no! The shows ratings have been dropping since after SPD. So, no, I don't think it's out of the realm of belief to think that there are more people buying the toys than watching the show. And I don't think it's out of the realm of belief to think that people are buying them and not aware of the show still being on.

And this is all WAY beside the point I was originally trying to make, which is that saying that everybody knows about this show and how to find is and it's thus pointless to promote it doesn't make sense and is really an illogical argument to make.

That is very possible..especially sense it's not on basic cable. If kids see it and think it's cool they'll buy it.

A lot of kids nowadays haven't even heard of PR or were told to not like it.

Not really, Power Rangers is still pretty big, and one of Disney Consumer Products' biggest brands (after Mickey Mouse, Disney Princesses and Hannah Montana). I think you'd be hard pressed to find a 5 year old who doesn't know what a Power Ranger is...
