Makes me think that they watched the KRDK promo a few times and decided to go with a similar vibe for this. :laugh:

Looks kind of cool though, but I feel like I'm gonna get Hibikied with this one, you know, starts out awesome, switch people bts and it sucks.

That was a SICK promo! It was more like a movie trailer. I'm kinda surprised they pretty much let Eka and Ari keep their accents. I'm so hyped for this though!

Is anyone getting the feeling that they ripped off the concept from Terminator Salvation and applied it directly? Its pretty damn obvious. Don't forget the pretty blatant Matrix stuff.

God dammit I know originality is hard to come by these days but come on show a little effort.

I mean Battlestar Pornograhica is even bigger ripoff of Terminator and no one seems to mind. As long as it puts its own spin on things I'm all right with it.

I agree about it clashing with the Go Onger stuff, though I'm hoping we get a series like Turbo where the camp is embraced in the latter half of the series.

BSG well only in a very basic sense that it copies Terminator (hell some of the concepts for Salvation were taken off of the later seasons of BSG). Right now I'm seeing that whoever got the idea for this pretty much grabbed the concept of Terminator Salvation and applied it to Go-Onger. I'm seeing a little bit of Knight Rider too, but looking at the source well its not surprising.

The concept of Salvation is pretty much the dystopian future with some superpower organization that took over the world with its robots and only small pockets of humanity are left. Then they find some guy with no reconciliation of his past that happens to be a robot too and didn't know he was. And this guy is probably going to be their savior. Apply that to Go-Onger and pretty much you get RPM

Now I'm not saying RPM will be crap because of this, I'm just saying I want originality god dammit, look at the opening text they didn't even try to be subtle with copying the Matrix.

I'm a little disappointed with the cast to be honest (because I was only anticipating the cast).
