Power Rangers MegaForce, Ep 01 - "Mega Mission"

I kinda want an explanation for the Ranger....whatever they are. Are those really the keys? If so.....how did they get there? Why are they there??

I'm betting those explanations will come later. Best guess, it has something to do with Zordon's whole "My spirit will live on in all that is good and decent" line at the end of In Space.

The acting is better than Samurai, but not by much.

I hope that's only because it is the first episode, but most of the cast sounded incredibly dull. Specially in their dialogue during the out-suit action scenes.

love the episode the only cons i dislike are

the theme song only the samurai bits the rest is good
still not a fan calling their name in the intro
should not named the guy Ernie in respect to Richard Genelle
i'm find with them using gosei cards but they should of try to work around the japan text

other then that great episode

The same way EVERY OTHER SEASON HAS?! After Lost Galaxy find a season where the team knows what Power Rangers are before episode 1. Seriously where have you been?

I can acually name one: Ninja Storm, the catch was that they thought the Power Rangers were just comic book characters, so they became surprised to find out that they were real

as for the episode, it was okay. they're clearly trying way too hard to make this like MMPR, and since I didn't watch MMPR as a kid, I have no nostalgia for it, and just feel kinda "whatever" towards it. also, to be honest, the show just feels kinda generic in comparison to both past power rangers and to Goseiger, but this was just the first episode, so I won't make a final judgement just yet

in all honesty, I really liked Goseiger, and while I don't want a carbon copy like Samurai was to Shinkenger at first, I don't want the suits and source material to be used as generic power rangers

Yeah, we'll probably get an explanation later. We'll probably get the keys for the Legend War without VA's like they did for the Gokai X Gosei movie :redface2:

I hope this isn't premature but MegaForce looks promising! It's hard to determine much from the first episode alone, but the acting seems better than Samurai. Time will tell though. And, thank whatever you hold holy, no Bulk and annoying sidekick!

Overall, I agree with some have said with the episode being a bit abrupt, but, hey, it was decent and I'll take it. We'll see where it goes from here. I'm optimistic.

Abit rushed could've probably extended this to two episodes, but it was enjoyable. I could do without all MMPR references being shoved right into my face.
