That is a world that gets attack every other week, the rangers have appeared in television, the military has created its own set of rangers, and the first time this kid sees them is in a dream?!

Serious deja vu the whole episode through. An unbelievable amount of deja vu...not sure whether it is a good or bad thing.

The same way EVERY OTHER SEASON HAS?! After Lost Galaxy find a season where the team knows what Power Rangers are before episode 1. Seriously where have you been?
Anyway my opinion...IT WAS AWESOME! It's like modern while still going back to it's roots. It's like Mighty Morphin: The New Class. There just the right balance of television cheesy/average teenagers. And freaking Zordon mention come on it had to be down he's a giant heas! That's awesome! AND THEY MADE A KIMBERLY JOKE!! SABAN YOU SO SLY! My faith has been restored. I'm happy.

Linkara already pointed out humorously that each team doesnt really recognize previous teams. Its sort of a Power Ranger staple.
I liked the episode but I felt it was abrupt. I know they had a lot to put in but I felt like they could have let the characters relax into the setting a bit more. For example, felt odd when they were first teleported and none of the teens addressed each other. They just took it in as "just the way it is." I would think that at least the Black ranger would have been like "hey you're here too yellow?" (I dont know their names yet, lol.)
Or at least a "hey its the new kid. Where are we?"
Instead someone was just like "how did we end up here. huh. Oh well." lol
Another example is the legend war There was no set up for it. Just sort of bombards you for 5 seconds and then goes away. You have no time to appreciate it or understand it. It feels like a random youtube clip added to the front.
I did like that Gosei is a student of Zordon. I also liked the foreshadowing of the villains in the classroom; Which species would survive, insects, robots, or humans. That was pretty great.
I feel like the acting is a bit better so far but I still sense the same problems as last season. Its times like this that I really, really miss Ninja Storm. That season, hate it or love it, had incredible cast and character. They felt genuine in their actions with each other and the battles were exciting.
