NAME THE WORST SUPER SENTAI SERIES YOU'VE EVER WATCHED

It isn't our fault Go-Onger is by far consider the worst Sentai series of all time by anyone. Can you honestly tell me that there is a series (besides Goseiger) that even has the potential to being as shitty as it?

I have no great love for Go-Onger, but I love how people say such nonsense.

When some one makes any coherent sense of this, please let me know?

He said that Super Sentai is his favourite tokusatsu franchise, since Kamen Rider lost its mind and started thinking it was Sweet Valley High. (He misses the Showa style of KR.) And while many people believe Super Sentai has majorly sucked in recent years compared to the good ol' days, he's still enjoyed it. However, he recently watched Go-onger and was horrified. He thought it was just off to a slow start, and that it would eventually establish characters and plot, but anyone who suffered through Go-onger knows it did no such thing. And the mecha was fugly.

Oh, so he gave a long detailed opinion on the state of sentai? Gotcha. And also should you be using the word "Anyone". You do know people did enjoy Go-Onger. Just because YOU didn't doesn't mean EVERYONE didn't. I think the hard core GO ON SUCKKSSSS people don't really get that. I mean I think Go-Onger was a bad series, but I don't make comments like "anyone who watched it hated it" because that is just nonsense.

[HIDE]Red and Silver did not die. The others came back an episode later![/HIDE]

Despite the efforts of some, this has indeed turned into a "who hates Go-onger more?" pissing contest. Am I the only one out there that thinks it was not that bad?

No, its pretty awful.

Also:

[HIDE]Eh, besides the point. They had the last Org General, then the Org who was over it ALL to fight, in the last ten episodes. It was a series of beatdowns, and it REALLY would've been interesting to see the tension raised by killing the team.

Oh wait! We already did that to introduce another robot! -_-

They killed the Gao Animals, but they should've done that BEFORE they killed the team. Maybe its because I'm from the Power Rangers era where the zords blew up every other episode, but the Power Animals dying < Gaoranger's dying.[/HIDE]

Hey, man, I'm sure people who (smoked reefer so they could) enjoy Go-onger realized that, yes, Go-onger is verrrrrry light on character and verrrrrrrryy light on plot. I feel that my point stands.

The series after Go-Onger have just been as light on character. Hell Goseiger's way lighter on character and plot. Nothing happens.

Go-Onger isn't really the only series to have this flaws, it's just the first one that was really noticeable. Oh yeah, and the fact that hating Go-onger seems to be the cool thing still.

Hah. Barking up the wrong tree. Shougo's got no love for either of those series post Go-Onger.

Now, I have just recently got back into PR and Super Sentai through Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Going back through the shows, I could not get into Go-onger, but I'll give it some credit: It has one of the coolest theme songs of Super Sentai shows. I could listen to that song all day. :buttrock:

Episodes of Magiranger make me experience physical discomfort, so I guess that takes the crown for me.

There are other Super Sentai that I think are stupid or creatively bankrupt or horribly botched, but I figure a show can't fail much harder than consistently giving me a headache.

Then, it would seem, you should calm the crap down, shouldn't you? Forever Knight hates Go-Onger too, but he sank 50 episodes of time into it. A significant part of his life is gone he'll never get back--same for others who dislike Go-Onger.

...You lost two hours. Chill out.

It isn't my fault people decided to sit through garbage. I made that mistake with DekaRanger, TurboRanger, and and Den-O, there was no way in hell I am doing that again, especiallyl after doing it with Decade last year.

First of all: Gaoranger can't hold a candle to Flashman or Changeman, and I haven't even FINISHED those, yet.

Okay, I'll take your word for it, but I have only see the first 10 episodes of Flashman and the first 7 of Changeman. However, I can definitely say as great as they were, I'm not completely impressed. Episodes 6 and 7 of Flashman were terrible while Changeman was very dry. On the other hand, it is my hope that one day I can get all of Changeman on DVD so I can watch the whole thing in hopes that it is as good as they say unlike Bioman, which was average at best.

I don't HATE Gaoranger, but compared to every other 00 series besides Go-Onger, it loses.

No it doesn't. To Aba and Geki, yes, but compared to the others, no.

Hurricanger - interesting set of villians, cool ranger concepts, but there was way too much filler, and the episodes were boring. The Gouraijers started out cool, but became just as weak as the 3 ninjas. The best thing the series has going for it is Shurikinger and his past Sentai actor disguises.

DekaRanger - absolutely no plot, no central villian, bad mech designs, and one of the worst endings in Sentai history.

Boukenger - had a unique concept, but again, no central villian, and BoukenSilver really brought the show down. The ending was obvious, but at least they did not defeat the final boss with the ultimate mech form.

Go-Onger - Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... I can't say anything nice about this series at all other than I liked the theme music of the villians.

Shinkenger - Good concept that was waste with mindless banter. There was nothing samurai about it and the villians again, did nothing. Doukoku just sat in the background drinking sake while whining about his loses instead of actually just going out there and kicking ass. Daiyou spent half of her time just playing her guitar thingy, and then you had those pointless furry looking things. The rangers were predicatable and blue overacted, while the mechs were dreadful.
