But Miley isn't british. :sly:
Neither is Tank Girl, IIRC. (But a British actress could still play her!)
I have the original Hewlett/Martin comics, and Tank Girl was actually Australian.
In the comics, which was set in modern-day Australia, Sgt. Smalley was the main villain; Tank Girl was one of his employees (and a very unruly one at that!), who failed at a simple and epic task (to bring the president his diapers before he craps himself), and became Public Enemy # 1. She then joined up with Booga the kangaroo, Jet Girl, and Sub Girl, and since then, had some very surreal and wild adventures, while fighting against Smalley. (Starsky & Hutch made a brief cameo in one issue!)
The 1995 movie, as much as I enjoyed it (I have the DVD), has nothing to do with the comics.
I like Miley Cyrus, but I find her rather an odd choice to play Tank Girl! LOL!
But it'd be great if Hewlett & Martin were brought on board as creative directors. We'd get something along the lines of Gorillaz (which Hewlett co-created)!
