Ugh. Someone teach this guy how to play videogames. Why would you want to ruin a once-in-a-lifetime game like that?

But they gave Super Mario Galaxy a 9.5.
They like Mario in space more than they like Jack Bauer in space. Weird. Anyway, six more days for me :buttrock:

I really think that some sites give "low scores" to generate buzz and get get hits. Like the scores of 7's for Assassin's Creed. If everyone's laying down 9's, then what's to distinguish your site from any other. If you lay down a lower score, sure you'll get people in an uproar, but nonetheless you're still getting those hits and probably even more because everyone's going to flock to your site to see what bad things you say.

8.5 is a perfectly fine score. I didnt read the gamespot score but perhaps they simply felt that the few problems with Mass Effect deserved more penalty in terms of rating.

Its like how all the review sites gave Sonic Wii a piss poor review and yet.. the game was bad ass. **** em I says!

I'm picking it up today. Probably wont start playing it today though.

No one has to teach me anything. It's called individuality. Everyone has their own way to play. You really shouldn't care how I play though; I always buy a strategy guide for long games such as this game in particular so that I can have reference if I get stuck and also so that I am aware of all side-quest that can be easily overlooked.:thumbs:

Why not buy a strategy guide and become aware of all there is to do in the game instead of wandering around for hours to find what you are looking for? If I think it benefits me, you don't have to tell me otherwise. A strategy guide isn't cheating, it just tells you what you have to do, you STILL have to do it YOURSELF anyways.

But discovering it all for yourself is where the fun is! Normally I wouldn't say anything, but this is Mass Effect, so I felt the need to say something.

I'm not myself, I'm really pissed that I'm not playing Mass Effect right now.
