The Krogan might be Wrex, but it's hard to tell. I want to know who the girl is.

Could be a new character, or maybe they decided to throw in both the Female along with the Male Shepard on this cover.

I'm positive the Krogan isn't Wrex. For some people they will never see that character ever again.

According to stuff I have read in game informer, and seen online from Bioware, the iphone game isn't going to be referenced in ME2. There is Mass Effect 1 DLC coming. According to bioware it's supposed to bridge the gap between the two games.

I've read different several places... pretty sure on BioWare's site. The two main characters of the iPhone game are going to be squad mates and the Krogan makes such a fun entrace, I'd be quite surprised if that wasn't him on the cover.

Could you show me links for that? I would be interested to see what you are talking about. If they leave the iphone game only on the Iphone that is going to be a huge disappointment. I don't see why they arn't porting it to DS it would be a great investment for them.
