Does anybody think that the producers used "Star Trek: Generation"'s Enterprise-D saucer crash as the basis of Terra Venture's crash landing?

As for BigMac1212's question, I've not seen any Star Trek series. I doubt they used the same thing for Lost Galaxy finale.
