But asking where Castle Doran comes from is like asking how the Disk Animals in Hibiki move or how the Origami's in Shinkengers were made or how the mech battles in sentai never kill millions of people? You just got to use your imagination and believe.:anime:
LOL, didn't you even wonder where that folding building from where Castle Doran always comes out of? And nobody seemed to notice it? It looked awesome in Decade though, since Castle Doran remained static in its place, which was cool since it looked like a foreboding monument.

Regarding why Showa era lovers liked Kiva, I had a talk with Iga and I asked him if it was true. What he told me was that if anything, Kiva was sort of another version of Faiz by Inoue, only threading a different course as the characters from the prior show took. Like in Kusaka's case where his ultimate hate for Orphenochs led to his demise, but in Nago's case, he saw Fangires in a new light. Wataru and Takumi both had taken the wrong path at some point in the show, then bounced back from it. Both shows also had somebody getting fired from the "company", Iga even added that despite being monsters, they didn't go berserk and murdered everybody in the room. Iga's main problem with Kiva was the strange morality in the world, where we have characters like Taiga who killed a lot of innocent people in the beginning, only to not be punished in the end. Same goes to the arms monsters like Jiro and Riki who killed innocent people too, but Ige figured them serving in Castle Doran might have been their show of remorse. If anything, Kiva was about giving people second chances. Regarding its connection to Showa era shows, Iga couldn't find any except that it took its villains seriously, but that has been done before of course. Iga said he only took Kiva as a "middle-of-the-road show-", not one of his favorites, but he didn't dislike it either.
So the bottomline is, I think there really isn't any connection for Showa era lovers who love Kiva other than coincidence, and I don't think all of the 11 people who voted Kiva were all Heisei series lovers as well, since I'm already an exception, and I really don't think I'm
that unique.
If anything, I would like to thank Kiva for introducing to me Otoya Kurenai.
