Kasumi, Eiji, and Malin all got knocked out when King threw at table at them.
That's my girl!! :anime: Surprise Rose!

It's a wood table so more like Surprise Oak!
Most of the AOF storylines in KOF were comedic (on par with the Korean Team's story)...
The ending for one of KOF's, specifically the ending for the AOF team where King is fighting with them, Takuma jumps in and saves her from being attacked.
When asked he states that he couldn't let the mother of the next king or leader of the Clan be harmed.
Then in a more recent KOF, for the AOF ending we see King and Ryo on a date somewhere and the dialouge indicates King has something important she wants to tell Ryo but as usual Yuri and company screw it up.
So yes, King and Ryo are a couple and there were pretty strong indications she was thought to be either pregnant or made his wife soon.
As the series being not connected, again I would refer to SNK's own older canon. Earlier games from both AOF and FF referenced the tournament as the "King of Fighters" tournament. Mark of the Wolves, a game set MUCH later in the FF brand name also makes it clear that its tournament is the KOF tournament for that year.
Wow some people are gullible, you obviously misunderstood Takuma or you don't remember the ending at all. The ending was KoF 2000 AoF team, Takuma meant he wants her to have sex with Ryo to make more Sakazaki's, however King and Ryo have no intimate intentions until XI, and that was just a set up date. So King and Ryo are not a couple, King is not pregnant. I know alot about the NESTS saga storyline, the MI, XI, and Orochi stuff confuse me a bit.
Mark of the Wolves ISN'T a KoF tournament, the original Fatal Fury's with the are also referred to as KoF tournaments BUT due to the Real Bout series, the Fatal Fury universe in KoF is a altered FF universe while the FF line is seperate. Why? Because in Real Bout Geese dies but he's still alive and kicking in KoF. I have a feeling MI is connected to Real Bout but not Garou: Mark of the Wolves, MoTW takes place JUST AFTER KoF 2003, or should be there.
And some people are really stupid.
I didn't misunderstand anything. As I said, once you remove what cannot happen, ie the laser cannon attack, the ending itself can still happen. Ie, Takuma does still jump in and protect King. Now whether or not she is pregnant or will be pregnant is yet to be seen.
Displaying them in a romantic setting within the actual games is new but the relationship has going on for a while.
And SNK's timeline/continuity is still screwed up enough that they have to reboot the whole thing at some point and start making clarifications on when and how things occur.
Thus showing King is not pregnant, back in 2000 and 2001 it was not yet to be seen but since Ryo and King are not together by XI and theres not a child in site nor does King or any of the other AoF characters mention a word of a child.
SNK's doesn't have one timeline like the Street Fighter series, it branches off into multiple universes. SNK has already stated which events belong to what universe but Falcoon is trying to mix things up now.
Well King's been absent from some of the series so we're not really sure what she's doing at that point.
And SNK's multiple unvierse thing is all screwed up and needs to be streamlined and fixed. It's too damn confusing to follow.
