Well, this is Toei after all. Barring Xros Wars (where it was basketball), most Digimon protagonists were soccer enthusiasts as well. Someone's gotta pick up the tradition without a Digimon series on the air.

Kinda makes sense though, he only kicks when he fights or uses weapons. I haven't seen Wizard use his fists at all this season... maybe that's why it's boring for me... I like brutal punches to the face and all brawl out... but that's just me.

Him being a former soccer player doesn't explain that. The giant rings on his hands however, they do. :laugh:

I actually prefer kick strikes over punches.

My guess is Nitou decides to finally live up to his title and get a bike, but wacky hijinks ensue to make him fail and change his mind.

It's really weird how toy-happy Bandai and Toei don't throw out a whole bunch of bikes for the heroes to use.

Probably because Honda makes the bikes for them. And X number of bikes cost money. Just look at W who had a rather powerful Sports bike.

Maybe they realized that people are catching on to the fact Riders barely ride anymore so they're just forgoing it altogether.
