a swap disc? basically it's a disc that lets you read other region games, for example if you have an original, unmodified ps2 and is region locked to US, use the swap disc and it will let you read other region PS2 games, like PAL or JP region games. Or if you have a hardmodded or modified PS2, it will let you read any games of any region by default.
