Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie Wars 2010 (spoiler)

Ha ha, wow. Bitter much? Sure, the story of Soukichi Narumi's impact on Shotaro adds nothing to the show!

How was that even shown by the movie? We aren't told anything about how they met or came to work together. We aren't told anything about Narumi's past with Gaia memories. The movie showed that Soukichi was cool... and that's it. The reveal of Akiko's father death to her didn't even receive 10 seconds of focus. Fang's supposed trauma wasn't even referenced at all. Like I've said before, everything regarding Dummy mimicking Skull and even his abilities in general ended up just forgotten.

The flashbacks sequences really didn't add anything and some just created more questions, like what happened to the Lost Driver for it to not be used in the show's first scene. That even compromises Shotaro's supposed "burden". Double's movie had decent action, Skull was cool and that's it.

But, if you must have a movie exclusive Rider, telling the story of Soukichi Narumi for the film is something that won't piss fans off. It was a smart move.

It would have been nice if they had actually told his story though.

In an earlier ep, Philip suggested to Shotaro that they tell Akiko the truth about what happened to her Dad. Shotaro didn't want to because he blamed himself for Sokichi's death. Begin's night showed why. It was when Sokichi told him to stay put, instead he went after Philip. Which made things worst.

Shotaro's burden was mostly wanting to be like Sokichi, as well as his guilt on what happened that night. What freed from it was the visit from the AU Sokichi telling him that hat looks good on him.

I enjoy when watching the movie. But a little disappointed that a Decade Conclusion is different like we saw in the last tv series.

Yup, I even heard a GREAT theory on how it all ended too :disappoin
It's like the Kiva movie all over again XD

spoilers
you mean how they travel forward in time from 1988 to 2008 in the movie but in the series he meets wataru for the first time so it has no impact on the main story. yea that kinda pissed me off espically because it asks what the point was in the end they need to do it like den o did with the movie during its series were events in the series were in direct relation to what was happening in the movie.

I personally think that people who make these kinds of mistakes should be punished with the most inhuman torture possible. Hearing tone deaf musicians play polka music while trapped in an enclosed area that allows the sound to reverberate and with nothing to eat except muster and a stale muffin

It would have been nice if they had actually told his story though.

Yeah, it sure would've been awesome if the production staff had crapped all over their plans for Soukichi's role in the Xtreme arc with dull exposition in a movie made a good three months earlier, a movie they couldn't be sure all fans were going to see because Decade had top billing, a movie they couldn't even write the conclusion to themselves. That would be such a great place to include key backstory!

Your Begins Night complaints are just classic sour grapes, man. You're upset that everyone's praising it and dogging the crappy Decade parts of the movie for being crappy. Well, you can complain about irrelevant nonsense until time ends, but that's not going to make anyone think the Decade parts of Movie Wars 2010 weren't crappy. Especially when W's fans have to sit through it for Begins Night.
