-Eiji gets a scarf. Nice. He better wear that all the time.

-I like how the Birth henshin is piece-by-piece at different camera angles. I can't remember the last time we had something like that. Usually, it's just one shot as the armor forms around the person. I also like how we had shots of Date in the actual suit. Now that's something I know I haven't seen in a while. Date's aim sucks.

-The suit appears to be magnetic. Or the CLAWs are at least. When Birth lands a hit, the Cells are attracted to the part that hits it. As for the BirthBuster...yeah, I can see why he needs to carry that jug around. I thought the bullets went into the bottom because it saves them so he doesn't have to reload, but it's just the shell as the energy from the Cell is fired. Then it's dumped (and as we see, evaporated) and he has to scoop out some more from the jug. It's somewhat distracting, but at least he's not like other Gun Riders and can use the CLAWs as well as the gun. Usually, it's just the gun.

-He totally pulled the BirthBuster out of his ass though.

-Gorilla Candroid this time. They're pushing those out huh? Glad they're using them though.

-Yay! TaToBa kick finally hit!

One thing I really liked about this episode is that it shows how dangerous certain desires can be, when it comes to a Yummy. The Yummy that Uva created from the kendo girl's desires wanted to be strong and to fight/beat others, which means that the more it and its clone/copy thingy fought, the stronger they got and the more Cell Medals they created.

It is so weird that they're trying to bring back a lot of the basic G3 concepts with the gachapon armor guy. I didn't expect any level of realism from the *poppoppop* suit.

-The suit appears to be magnetic.

This is probably not conventional magnetism, but some sort of quasi-mystic design feature of the suit itself. If Birth is meant to harvest medals then this is probably a system that makes them easier to gather.

Fun to watch a raw now & then... Though I dd not have a clue what was going on I think perhaps birth rider is a bit of a dick ... Also does anyone else really hate that poping sound ...

I shudder to think the topics they could do on rider shows if it was not a kid based series

It will grow on you....

I have to say, that Birth's fight in episode 17 is way better than his debut.

[watching the beginning of episode 17]

........Wow, Date is a fucking n00b. It prolly won't be long until the Birth Rider system is taken away from him due to his n00bness
