Firstly, I've read the discussion, and it seems like people are complaining and bitching like they always do. Haven't you guys learned that Toei doesn't CARE about what us foreigners think?

So let me get this straight: it's ok to say good things about a show made by a corporation that doesn't care about us.... but the moment we say something bad, we're in the wrong? You know, if you're going to use this "They don't care" argument, it appiles to both sides, not just people who don't like something.

Secondly, if you don't like it, don't watch it. If you wanna judge the ENTIRE series and not watch it because of two bad episodes, then hey, be my guest and not give the poor guy a chance. It's almost like you guys picked up the greatest books of all times and read the cover and the summary at the back and decided not to read it at all after reading the reviews online. The only way you can justify if somethings bad or not is if you've seen the entire thing. Do that and the power to bitch about it is yours. If not, you can't just go around saying things.

I really don't think there is one single person on this entire board that is ignorant of the fact that it's a Japanese kids show. Everybody gets that and everybody is cool with that. But not everybody is going to let that be a cheap excuse for crap. A lot of us have been watching this stuff for awhile and we now how good these kids shows can actually be so it's pretty sad when it's reduced to ~o/ba-ba-bada-buy-our-****/o~.

Except it's not crap.I think people are judging way two much on two episodes that were not bad at all. The story is just getting started and there's a lot of things that haven't even gotten a chance to be explored yet. And some of the complaints are ridiculous I mean complaining about toy pimping it's like you forgot what kind of show this is, and it's pretty hypocritical to hear people complaining about that when no one did when w aired. I thought we wanted to have the gadgets and what not be useful, but now that they are there "toy pimping" and that's bad. Which boggles the mind because that's what happened before except that they were useless, but now apparently we'd rather not see "toy pimping" used correctly.

Good God, it just gets worse and worse every year... by the time the new series starts next year, I would not be surprised if half of you guys go on killing sprees!

IT'S TWO EPISODES IN and you guys are planning to head over to Toei and drop kick the writers in the head! Let Ooo's at least get on his feet before you take a dump on him!

Personally, I'm loving it so far. Mainly because I'm accepting it for what it is. But if I go any further than that, I'll get flogged by teh internetz.

This is something else I think everybody is aware of. Nobody here has a problem with toys in tokusatsu. If they did they wouldn't be here. But people do have a problem with overkill, nonsensical or just plain dumb gimmicks, and when a show feels like the toys are the greater priority on the part of Toei/Bandai and the story is something that exists only to string their debuts together.

I only have a problem with toys in toku if they are useless after one episode or never seen again. After this, I can already tell that all of OOO gear will have it's own use more than once. Now, technically, that's making a bold statement, but considering that I'm seeing all of them in the OP song alone (none of W's memory gadgets were in the OP and they were used quite a bit for comparison) I can tell that this is at least planning to show them off again.

Also, seriously, two episodes is never enough to judge a year-long series. Give it 8 or 10 at least.
