Ryuki had a lot of WTF sometimes.

Heck sometimes even the killing was WTF like Imperer's

Yes Ryuki did..........Kobayashi never seems to write a Rider series without having WTF moments. But not in the first episode of Ryuki, that **** was just subtle and normal.

Yeah, I agree, OOO and W had some really great acting.

I know, right? Man Eiji is such a great character right off the bat kinda like Godai in some respects like some people have some before. I was kinda worried of getting an angsty Rider cause of his first descriptions of him. And I know some of you know how irked I was by his "lengthy" henshin sequence (by that I mean from a demonstration video), but somehow it kinda makes sense for him to do that and didn't look out of place at all.

Another thing that I really like is are the Greeds. Right of the bat, you get a kinda "mysterious" vibe about them (kinda like the Lords and Grongi from Kuuga and Agito) cause of their ancient origins. I really like the foreshadowing conflict between OOOs and the Greed cause of him already in possession of their medals. I really like how the Yummy are created too, how they "eat" peoples desires.

Oh and Ankh is cool too, but I'd rather he stayed as a floating hand rather than have a human form. Would've been sort of like a side-kick akin to Garo's Madou Ring.

The first episode of OOO was... decent. It has this feeling that this show is a mix between Ryuki's serious tone and Den-O's humor.

Seems like normal tokusatsu humor to me.......not that slapstick/irrational comedy that Den-O makes (SERIOUSLY, THERE IS NO DEN-O COMPARISON TO THIS SERIES........NONE!!!!)

I think it's just at the point where since it's Kobayashi writing it and something happens that's funny, clearly that's Den-O.

You gotta like a guy who lives out of his Paints.

OOO's, to me, while lacking the style of W, has a sort of old school (like Kuuga or Agito) sheen to it where the main guys is someone who just wants to protect people for no reason other than he wants to.

The Greeds look impressive, and the first episode really gives you a taste of how strong they are as the wipeout a whole platoon.

The kaiju......well, we have only seen one (the "Man-Tis" if you will), and how they are made is....disturbing. I stilll don't get how Rings = Manits monster.

OOO's himself looks alot better in motion that i though he would be. The henshin an belt are neat and his first "Form Change" looks cool.

A win in my book.
