I think the Medal Case/Holder is probably made due to the fact that Ankh keeps getting his Medals stolen from him. The case probably helps Eiji to keep all the Medals with him since we know the slot to keep Medals on his belt is very limited. The case may as well have some functions that will resist other Greeeds to open it and steal from it.

Is it just me or that the green parts of Birth (on his forehead) if colored red look like the ball thing in pokemon?

It's a gachapon. I believe the PokeBall is based on the same thing.

Hahah, do you honestly think OOO is going to stop medal swapping? That's one of the easiest ways to "move" the "plot" and also a very easy way to justify why Eiji keeps having to use new Medals.

Even when the case shows up in the series, Eiji's going to keep losing Core Medals. This is like the belt-swapping from Faiz, it's a feature of the show and they're not going to stop doing it.
