Kamen Rider Kiva: Demonic Resurgence (rpg thread)

Kain

Lurker
"Gotta love the taste of humans in the afternoon.." a voice said as a pair of highschool girls collapsed onto the ground, their bodies becoming totally transparent like glass and shattering just as easily. A monstrous insectoid being stood over the two unfortuneate victims, it's body like that of a humanoid roach which stained glass skin. A Fangire, an ancient race with a long lifespan and an appetite for human life force. Chances are if you ever saw one in it's true form, it would be the last thing you would ever see right before it makes a meal out of you. This particular Fangire had been posing as a teacher at a local school, and seem to have a taste for female students.

Seconds after the attack a young man on a sleek jet black motorcycle came zooming toward the scene before the fangire with a metal baseball bat before skidding to a stop behind the beast. "Dammit.." he muttered as he removed his helmet and tossed it aside, obviously frustrated that he couldnt prevent the attack. Will Brenner, a young man whose once normal life was interrupted all because he possesed a potential for power that few beings possessed. "Those victims are gonna be your last!" he shouted while tossing aside the bat. "Arcvat, it's action time!" he declared while a silver bat like creature descended out of nowhere and came to him.

"My power is at your disposal master." it said as it hovered above his shoulder. Apparently the odd creature could speak English, though that wasnt that big of a suprise for those familiar with it's species.

"You again...." the roach fangire said angrily, indicating that it wasnt the first time that these two had clashed.

"Yeah, me again. Just stay dead this time!" Will said as he outstretched his arm and allowing Arcvat to bit down on it. Numerous wild and jagged patterns resembling black stained glass began to form on his skin. While the patterns formed ghostly chains wrapped around his waist and formed into a belt which had a perch for Arcvat. Now with Will's fangire nature awakened Arcvat attached itself to the belt, unlocking the power that thrust him into this whole conflict to begin with. What could only be described as an amorphous layer of glass formed around him and shaped itself into a suit of armor before shattering, revealing the rather intimidating form of Kamen Rider Arc.

(For those wanting some action, you can either make up and fight another fangire somewhere else or assist Will with the Roach Fangire who is one tough bastard thats pretty damn hard to kill. For everyone else, do whatever.))

Patrick was sitting in class when it seemed his teacher had left class to use the restroom. Patrick then heard the window tap next to him, and he looked and saw it was Kurovat, and Patrick said," Well if the teacher won't show up then I won't even bother to stay." Patrick then walked out of class, and then saw Kurovat fly down to his side. Patrick glanced at the bat, and said," Where is he at?" Kurovat said," Follow me your majesty." Patrick nodded, and then followed Kurovat until he saw another rider fighting the roach Fangire. Patrick looked, and said," Seriously well I doubt this is a waste of my time." Kurovat then said," It's your teacher." Patrick smirked, and said," No wonder he didn't come back. So he just wanted a snack. Kurovat why don't we show him are strength." Kurovat nodded, and said," We shall destroy the fangire." Patrick smirked, and said," I am the the next in line for the title of King, but I want to kill the fangire while scaring this rider."

Patrick then lifted his right arm, and said," Kurovat you know the procedure." Kurovat then said," Abure." Patrick then grew fangire marks while chains created a black belt with a perch for Kurovat to hang upside down by. Patrick then said," Henshin." Kurovat then hanged down from the perch, and a green wave of energy came from Kurovat as Patrick became slick as glass before his armor formed, and then glass pieces flew off as it revealed Patrick's armored form Imperius. Patrick walked with a royal posture with his arms down, and he said," I'm sorry you roach, but set a example for the evil fangire of this world, and Go extinct." Patrick then ran and jumped off of Arc's shoulders, and performed a downwards dropkick towards the roach fangire.

The botanical garden dome was closed to the public that day due to renovations provided a perfect sanctuary to be alone with one’s thoughts avoided of conflicts. Centered within the middle of the dome was a marbled statue of a tiger resting underneath a Sakura tree, surrounded by an arrangement of flora. Standing before the statue, a young woman with long flowing neon-green haired young woman, Kiyoshi traced her fingers along the fine features of the crafted marbled and the name of the sculptor behind the magnificent statue. Kiyoshi turned around and brushed her elegant black dress, before taking a seat underneath recalling the name of the late human, Artiste McAllison. The two had been very good friends far as she could remember, but then one day it was if she had disappeared from the world. It was later revealed in time the promising artist had been killed by one of Kiyoshi’s own kind. In order for a Fangire to survive one must feed off the life force of humans, one of the few lessons she/he is taught at a very young age. Humans were livestock for them as it had been over the centuries, but Kiyoshi learn from Queen that they are far more than that as well.

Pressing her back against the smooth marble Kiyoshi stared forward, holding a white flower in her other hand. If she had been there that unfortunate day, Kiyoshi would had pleaded that her friend to be spared.

Their swords met feverishly, lashing out at each other with an array of golden sparks. Their blades, like extensions of their very souls, rested at their sides as the two opponents began to circle one another, attempting to taunt the other into a furious rage.

"You," said the grainy, filtered voice, of the moth Fangire, it's human side, showing through the stain glass pattern on it's body, "a human, will never defeat me. In all my years of living, not one person has come close to destroying me."

"Well, for that, I've got some scenarios for you," said the enigmatic white Rider, pointing his sword, the IXA Calibur, at the moth Fangire, as they continued to circle each other. "One," said the Rider, holding up his unoccupied hand for the Fangire to see, pointing his index finger towards the sky. "In all reality, I could've killed you as soon as you got done draining that poor guy of his life energy. You see, it's been a slow day, nothing too exciting going on, and I just wanted some fun. I guess, we just happened to meet at the most appropriate time. Here I am, walking along the road, and there you are, killing some guy. I mean, it's cleary fate's way of telling us that we're made for each other."

"This is clearly why we Fangire want to destroy you humans. You are unfit for this Earth, only fighting pointless battles. And not to mention the arrogant people like you," said the moth, raising her sword, ready to go in for another attack.

"Hey, if you've got it, flaunt it right? I mean you guys have those fang things, and you sure use them all the time right? So, what's the difference?"

The white Rider had a habit of joking around once his pray had entered the stage of easy defeat, but even when they were still strong, the occasional joke couldn't hurt at all. But apparently, the moth took the little joke to heart, and charged the white Rider, sword held high, ready for a downward slash. But as the sword swung down to attack the Rider, he quickly parried the attack, then brought his own sword down upon the moth, creating a deep slash down the monster's chest. But in a reaction to the attack, the moth emitted a purple pollen, that once it hit the suit, began to spark, and in the ensuing choas, the moth Fangire escaped.

Disengaging the IXA armor by pulling the IXA Knuckle out of the belt, the armor reformed into a small golden cross, then went back into the primary point on the belt. Roland Des'Chain, the forty-two year old operator of the IXA system, shook his head in disbelief.

"I can't believe she got away. Oh well, better luck next time."

Walking back to his motorcycle, the IXALion, a special bike that he himself designed for the IXA system, he recieved a special call.

"This is Roland."

"We have spotted a Fangire in the east side of town," said the voice on the phone.

"I'm on it then."

Roland snapped his phone shut, placed it in his jacket pocket, and then grabbed his riding helmet, putting it on tightly. Reving up his motorcycle, he muttered something under his breath, and then took off, ready to fight another Fangire.

The Roach Fangire was forced back a little by the attack, but seemed relatively undamaged. Much like the insect he resembled, he was incredibly resilient , being able to survive most attacks, whch was probably why the King considered him a very useful soldier back in the Fangire Civil War. "The son of of traitorous revolutionary and the traitorous prince. Well at least no one is gonna care if you both die!" he said before breaking several shards of itself off which formed into a pair of swords which he swung at the two of them. When it came to no one being to upset over Patrick's death , he wasnt lieing. Due to him having a tendency of killing his own kind when he was supposed to be leading them against the humans had caused him to fall out of favor with the vast majority of Fangire, including the current King who only allowed him to keep Kurovat in hopes that Kurovat's powers would kill him.

As for Will/Arc he was pretty shocked to see someone else who weilded a suit of armor like his, and a kivat of their own. He was also willing to put aside his annoyance with the other's methods, but Arcvat wouldnt allow that as he still had quite a grudge against Kurovat and the King. "Master! Dont be fooled by the fact that you two share a common foe in this fight! He is no friend of ours! Anyone with the King's blood in their veins is our enemy!" Arcvat told him.

"I'll keep that in mind Arcvat, but for now we got some more pressing matters to attend to!" will said while blocking one of the Roach Fangire's swords and counterattacking with a powerful punch toward the Fangire's face. He followed up the punch with a kick to the stomach and then ended the combo with another strike to the Fangire's face. With this fangire you just had to keep hammering it, or else it would just heal itself, Will had clashed with it enough times to know that before.

Elsewhere, a young and rather busty woman was at her house and finished writing out some research notes, soon indulging in some food to satisfy her hunger. Her detective business was a little slow these days, but her other work was still booming, that being fighting against and doing research on fangire. She had been doing some research on her most persistent subject: her father. She was going to look do some more work on it when her partner came in: that of the flying figure of Sagarc.

"Let me guess...a fangire attack?" Her partner silently nodded and she got up from her chair, adjusting her glasses slightly. "Well, let's go." The two then left her house and made way to where Sagarc sensed the fangire, where it looked as if two armored warriors that were sort of similar to her own were already battling the fangire in question, which looked like a roach. "Hmph...a bug...how annoying..." Making a motion with her hand, Sagarc flew down and settled on the young woman's waist, a belt going around it.

Holding up her Jacorder, she only uttered one word. "Henshin..." Sticking the Jacorder in Sagarc's side, white armor soon enveloped the young woman from head to toe. Once it was complete, she didn't waste any time in changing her Jacorder to it's whip-like Bute mode, using it to try and strike the Roach in the back.

At the botanical garden, a figure was watching the neon-green haired girl as she paid her respects to the person who the statue was made for. Hmm...humans can get rather lavish for those that depart...do we do such things? ...I think not...when we die, we are soon forgotten...can't really say that's better... Bringing out a fan and putting it under her face, the figure, a rather attractive blond haired woman, waited silently for her ward to finish paying her respects.

Patrick saw the new rider show up, and he said," Well well I'll just let you two take care of this bug. Maybe after wards we can have a waltz of are own." Patrick then stepped aside, and stood still with his royal posture, and then said," Come on come one bring me some entertainment I mean there is no point in having a boring show." Patrick then waited to see when the fighting would get better, and he thought," These two be them enemies or allies will fall today. That's if they challenge my power."

((Deme what im about to have the King about to do may seem like god moding, but since he is still King and he is a bit of a jerk, it seems like the type of thing he would do.))

Unknown to all of them, they were being watched from a distance, by the current King of all Fangire no less. To most, he was simply the wealthy Alexender Rovias the thirteenth, though in reality he was the first he just felt the need to update his alias every few generations, but to the Fangire he was much more. As usual he was more than a little displeased with the actions his "son" decided to take against their own kind. Humanity was a food source whose population was allowed to flourish so their large numbers could adequatly feed the Fangire race. Defending them was not necessary as they reproduced quite a bit, some races far more than others. He reached into his royal robes and pulled out something similar to a Fuestle before bringing it to his lips and blowing on it, since Patrick decided to sit by and watch the King saw no reason to have Kurovat waste his time for the remainder of the fight. He would return the Kivat later of course, the boy did have some potential after all, but he would have to learn a few lessons first. Besides maybe the situation would force him to assume his Fangire form, which all Fangire, even those who wore armor, had to assume from time to time. Of course due to his wife's trickery the King that Patrick was a full Fangire, and thus didnt know that he had no Fangire form.

Back at the fight

"My lord summons me!" Kurovat said before detaching and cancelling the transformation. "I shall return once my business with his majesty is concluded." the Kivat said before taking off. Kurovat was given to Patrick, this much was true, but just like with previous generations his loyalty belonged to the current King, not the successor which was typically his younger sibling Golvat's job. The only reason the King gave Kurovat to Patrick rather than Golvat, was to try anf force his Fangire nature to surface, believing it was merely dormant due to not knowing the boy was only a half fangire.

Will was suprised to see yet another armor wearer show up to the fight against the Roach Fangire, and glad to see that this one didnt seem to have as much of an attitude problem. Of course, after hearing what Arcvat said about Kurovat and his master he couldnt help but wonder about this one. "Anything you may wanna tell me about this one?" he asked as he took advantage of the Fangire being distracted by Saga's whip by striking it from behind.

"Back when your father was Arc there were several Sagas since the Sagarc were so prosperous yet not as varied as the Kivats, some that sided with the King, others that sided with him. So it's difficult to tell." Arcvat explained while trying not to drone on about the various details of the past.

"Well lets just see how this plays out then..."

((Again, sorry if it seemed like god moding and powerplaying with the King there. I was trying to keep it more insteresting instead of just having a group of riders gang up on one Fangire. Besides King is an ass.))

Raising the white flower up to eye level was reminded of the symbolic meaning behind most flora, but felt that this flower was best suited to pay her respects. Taking in the beauty of the white flower, Kiyoshi had taken notice of her Queen’s presence within the botanical garden. Kiyoshi bowed respectfully apologizing that she had taken perhaps far too long giving respects to Artiste memorial marker. Twisting to her right side carefully laid the flower amongst those already place and rose onto her feet. “Good-bye my friend†releasing her fingers from the flower’s stem.

Returning towards the Queen, the young neon green haired woman bowed respectfully once more, but also expressing deepest gratitude having been permitted to come here. “My Queen, words cannot truly express the time granted to pay my respects to a friend unfortunate not to be born under the same star as our kind. And how much it means that you have chosen to stay with me, I hope that I’ve not kept you in wait for long.†taking one final look at the memorial, “I feel that my time has been concluded here and ready to return.â

Ryuma lay back in his bed back at the castle. "Mother's watching the one who's supposed to be her successor again isn't she?" Ryuma asked as Golvat flew up towards him. "It's normal for her highness, Master Dominic." Golvat said. Ryuma sighed and stood up. "Well I think I could do with killing time... I want to see what Mother is up to anyways." Ryuma said as he walked out of his room. "Wait up Master Dominic!" Golvat shouted from behind.

Ryuma walked past some servants who just happens to look at him like he's a total stranger. "Well it isn't weird since Father hides the fact that he has a second child." Ryuma said to Golvat as he walked away from the area. Walking towards where his Mother was with Golvat, he greeted her and her successor. "Good evening, Mother, your highness Kiyoshi." Ryuma said as he bowed down before them. "You have my greetings, your highness." Golvat said as he sat on Ryuma's shoulder and bowed. Ryuma stood up and smiled at his mother. "So how is it going Mother?" Ryuma asked, still smiling.
