Kamen Rider Hibiki: The New Generation of Oni (RPG Thread)

Seeing the injure man caused Kengo to know the truth about being a Oni, and that was even though you are strong eventually the job leads to your death. Kengo knew this risk when he sighed up for it though he had no other choice. Kengo bowed and he began to pray for the life of the old man. Kengo just sighed as he knew what having to watch a area would cause him a problem, because he never really wanted to do something like this. As Kengo just sat down against a tree he then heard the noises of a makamo in the area and Kengo thought," Seriously this just really isn't my day." The large creature was like a ray and a bird put together flying in the air, and it just seemed to be a large problem for Kengo though he knew what he had to do.

Kengo took out his black Henshin Onsa and tapped it on his leg and then said," May you be on my side." Kengo then put the Onsa in front of his forehead as his oni symbol appeared. Then Kengo burst into orange and black flames and he changed into Tanki. As Tanki looked at the large makamo he knew his fight was going to be tough.

Chewing on another piece of Dango, Sengoki smiled at Kuroki as she picked up another stick of Mitarashi Dango, offering it to her fellow Oni. "I have just been busy searching for some of the smaller, yet equally dangerous Oni, Kuro," she replied, also shortening the other Oni's name. Looking back at the computer screen, however, she lets out a deep sigh. "Unfortunately, I have not been too lucky," she sighed, taking a bite out of another piece of Dango from the stick on her hand.

Even though she was tempted, Yume held up her hand. "I'd like to, but I'm just passing through...real sorry, Sen...I hope that things go well with you in your search..." She said, waving goodbye as she left. She wasn't being rude, it's just that she had already talked with Seth and wanted to quicken her pace to the lake where she was supposed to be at for a while now. After some time of walking, she had made it to the lake and placed her pack down, stretching some.

"Haa, I might be here for a day or two...the rumors say that the sightings came randomly, so who knows when our lake monster will show up..." She said, taking her camp supplies out her backpack, ready to set up a camp site for the time being...

(OOC: Yeah, I know, not much action...I'll make up for it next post...)

Watching Kuroki leave her camp, Sengoki quickly picks up another piece of Dango and chews on it, sighing slightly as she looks back at her laptop computer. Within moments, one of her disk animals -- a hawk-like one -- returns to her and re-forms into the shape of a disk as she catches it.

I wonder if it found anything at all in the mountains... Sengoki wondered to herself, pulling out her Onibue and attaching the Disk Animal onto it, promptly blowing on it.

In an instant, the disk began to spin, quickly displaying the information it recorded during its reconaissance run, such as the terrain, and overall surroundings. However, it did not pick up on any Makamou activity, causing Sengoki to sigh once more, this time with relief. No Makamou on this side of the mountain....I better report back to Shiroki... Sengoki decided, putting away her Disk animal and Onibue as she starts to pack up her gear, hoping to deliver the news to Seth.

 

[Kain]

Seth was walking back to his campsite at the moment, his body still in it's transformed state while his face was in it's normal form. He wasnt exactly planning on starting any more trouble any time soon really, he just thought it was cool to walk around in what he percieved as his superior form , plus it just looked really cool which was something no one would deny. Besides there was that little issue of clothing tending to get burned, zapped, blown or sliced off when transforming into an Oni. Now for the most part Seth had managed to master the trick to keeping his clothing intact when changing from human to Oni and back again, but when it came to the possibility of ending up naked in the middle of the woods he simply didnt want to take that chance he was willing to take, and thus he had always made a point to never revert to his human form until he was in close proximity to a change of clothing.

As he closed in on his campsite he saw Sengoki heading there as well. "If it's about the Tengu, I just got done taking care of those."

Taking note of Shiroki just arriving at his own campsite, Sengoki smiled and waved at him upon hearing his report of the Tengu having been taken care of by him. "I see. Well, that is rather good news, Shiroki-san. As for me... " she sighed somewhat deeply, placing her gear down by Seth's gear momentarily as she gathered up her thoughts in regards to what she has done so far. Seconds later, Sengoki finally gathered up her thoughts and spoke up once more.

"On my side of things, I had been sending out disk animals to search for other types of Makamou, in case one or two decide to wreak havoc on hikers. Needless to say, either I'm horrible at scouting, or there hasn't been as much of the other types running about at the moment," she sighed, still disappointed with not being able to find Makamou during her scouting session back at the near-secluded portion of the foot of the mountain.

As after the transformation of Aya's being an Oni and now Kamen Rider Akatsuki, while Shouichi giving her an advice "Aya! using now the Taiko of Echizen!" and she nods to understand from her mentor "I got it shishou!" she takes out Echizen from her waists in prepare for attack stance while walk cautiously against three Neko Makamous challenging Akatsuki "Where should we begin with huh?" as the three Neko Makamous charging to Akatsuki fierciously but her cool and compose takes in self-defense counter from her right hand of her Echizen slams on the left side "Take that you!" while she hits the other one at right side of Neko Makamou striking at her left hand of Echizen "You missed that! Deep wide open now!" ducks on ground and hit its legs and fall down while the third one was countered by Akatsuki's kick "Eiyah!" as the right side Neko Makamou striking her on back of punch but she blocked using her taiko both hands and strikes one of her move Enjou Seibai Onigekida shoots fireball on these three then explodes. "It seems you were having hard time learning be an Oni. However, not bad Aya." Shouichi praises her of her improvement and giving her a clubhouse sandwich as she replies honestly "No shishou. I'm still amateur to become an Oni. But I keep it up later when the time comes." Aya made her nervous laugh while she bites her own sandwich.

"Well by now it seems like most of the people out here are us Oni, and chances are they are trying to cut their losses for the day." Seth explained as he briefly stood behind his SUV and transformed back into his normal self, fully clothed much to his relief. "I just gave the local Takeshi office a call while I was heading back here, today was mostly just getting us out here as a pre-emptive strike of sorts. Kinda like setting up your chess pieces a certain way in order to prepare for what an opponent will do." he said as he took his still dissassembled tent from his SUV and began getting it set up. "According to the organization there is gonna be plenty of people coming out here tomorrow and thats when they are likely to get really active. By the sounds of it things could get pretty nasty around here too, including you, three Oni have come by here today and chances are there a few more out here, though it could be just because of how summer types tend to be so damn numerous."

From there the day was rather uneventful, as Shiroki/Seth had predicted the Makamou had chosen to not draw attention to themselves for the day with all of the Oni popping up to slay them. Rather most of the smaller summer type makamou were stealthily hiding out and multiplying while the larger ones found thee deepest and thickest parts or the forest or the deepest and murkiest parts of the lake to conceal themselves along with their ever loyal Douji and Hime. But with every normal human that was coming in and setting up camp there they could feel their hunger for the taste of humans gradually increasing. Oh yes, they would reveal themselves the next day, the Doratabou, the Tengu and Kappa which were hiding out in various spots, the Bakegani hiding within the lake and possibly some sort of flight capable makamou were likely hiding out around there somewhere as well.

The next morning........

By now the amount if people camping out there had increased quite a bit as expected , it was a very nice area after all, clean air, clear water, lush green trees it was no wonder that people enjoyed camping out here. It was no suprise that Takeshi tended to keep a good amount of Oni stationed up there regularly, while of course switching new Oni in and out fairly regularly. Pretty much every Oni in the region had been assigned to an area up there at least once due to the fact that the large amounts of campers drew in large amounts of Makamou.

Like most Oni, the ever vigilant Shiroki started his day fairly early in the morning before the weather even heated up out there. As he always did while on duty, he sent out his disk animals first thing in the morning before picking up one of his Ongeki weapons to train with, all while frying up some bacon which proved that even his pizza addiction had it's limits. This particular morning he had chosen to practice with his guitar weapon which he had renamed the "Storm Rocker" when he had recieved it from his teacher. Despite often using his taiko weaponry , it was this particular item that was his favorite since it kind of let him live out some of his rock star fantasies. As he had typically done with this weapon/instrument he practiced using the signature guitar riff from Black Sabbath's song Iron Man. It sounded a bit different than it normally would have due to the unique construction of the instrument, but still had that kick ass heavy metal sound nonetheless due to the guy playing it.

After battle the Makamou, Raizou returned home to his tiny apartment not far from where he would play for the crowd. The appartment's walls were pretty bare, and looked old, a tiny fan and open window was all that was keeping Raizou cool. "Man, I should really think about getting an air conditioner." Raizou said, Goro yawned whining in agreement "Gotta tough it out, I guess" he said and remembered the Girl's Sakura's offer.

If you teach me...I'll let you stay at my place! she said Raizou smiled "Guess anywhere is better then this dump...oh well, can't complain too much, least the rent is cheap." He said and yawneed deeply, his arms outstretched he fell asleep rather quickly. Although Raizou was fully trained fighting as an Oni, he never got beyond the apprentice stage, he never really learned how to properly pace himself in battle either, during battle he would end up using more energy then desired.

Raizou's day started bright and early, the clouds were still hanging in the sky and night was just beginning to break up. Raizou began his morning routine like he would any other day: Brushing and flossing his teeth, taking a quick, brisk, cold shower, and then working out doing one arm push ups. "998, 999...1000!!!" Raizou said finishing his work out. He wiped the sweat away from his forehead.

Taking off his sweat covered tank top, he changed into his usual gear and walked towards the porch, making sure no one was looking he took out his Disc Animals "Alright guys, you know the drill." He said the Disc Animals dispersed in various directions. That's right. That Sakura girl wanted me to teach her how to play the guitar...oh well, I'm sure she'll be busy today. Guess I can go scout around for Makamou bit first...breakfast! Raizou thought "Come on boy, let's go" Raizou said grabbing his guitar on the way out. Goro barked twice before following his master.

By the next morning, Yume was also up and about, still at her camp by the lake. She didn't encounter anything at all, which struck her as a bit odd at first, though she was kind of grateful for the rest she was able to get in the meantime. There also had been no other people here at the lake yet, another fortunate fact, just in case there were some Makamou here. She was about brew some coffee she brought along, when she caught something from the corner of her eye.

It was just a flash of movement, but Yume knew exactly what it was. So, they show up now...they must be getting antsy... Putting the Henshin Kigen on her wrist, she pulled on the chain of it revealing it's strings. Plugging them, Lightning engulfed the woman where she stood for a few seconds. Seeing something at her side, she moved her arm, which was the usual finish for the henshin process, in that direction, which directed the excess lightning to what she saw, that being a Kappa Makamou. The lightning struck the Kappa, knocking it down, as the now transformed Kuroki, (Insert Kanji: Dark Breeze) shook her wrist some, a little pre-fight warm up for her.

Another Kappa darted in and looked as if it would strike Kuroki from behind...that is, if it didn't recoil in pain from something biting it's leg. Kuroki then spun around and delivered a crushing jump kick to it's head, knocking it away from her. She then looked down to her little helper, a Black Cobra Disk Animal she sent out earlier. "Thanks for the assist, heh..." Turning her attention to the two Kappa, she brought out the bow to her Ongekigen weapon, the Dark Gale. When not used with it, it basically served as a melee weapon, it's ribbon being sharp to Makamou.

Slashing at them as they tried to attack her, she stopped their attacks each time, cutting them across their chests and torsos for their repeated attempts. Going on the offensive against one, she made an authoritative slash across it's chest, pretty much killing it as it soon exploded in light green fire. Using the explosion of it's comrade to her advantage, Kuroki emerged from the smoke and delivered a hard kick to it's mid section, sending it flying and into a shallow part of the lake.

It struggled up, looking as if it wanted to continue, but wouldn't get the chance as the ground shook some. With the waves rippling in response, the shaking ceased as a large crab-like creature known as a Bakinegi emerged from the lake, as if it just woke up...and it was hungry. Before the Kappa could respond, it was snatched up by the monster's pincers and devoured in a short manner.

Having witnessed this, Kuroki drew the Dark Gale from where she usually held it, that being her back, with it's bladed edges glistening some in the sunlight. Rushing in with this and the bow to it, Kuroki leaped into the air to slash at the foe with both her weapons, intending to soften it up...

As Kiniki and Hioshi waited in the waiting room for the doctor to come out. Hioshi tried to lighten the moment, "So, Kiniki, I was thinking of my Oni Name. Hibiki! I take the H and the I and..." "Not now HIoshi, not now." Hioshi nodded, "Sorry..." "Its not you. Just.."

As the doctor came out, he had a smile on his face, "He will make a full recovery." "Really?! But how!" "No clue son. Your friend heregot lucky." "Thank you Doctor." Kiniki went back with Hioshi to the room, "What did you tell the doctor." "Mountain accident, HIoshi." said Kiniki, "Right..."

As they entered the room, Gaiki was already wide awake, "Hey guys" "Gaiki-san, how?!" Yelled Hioshi. Kiniki looked at Gaiki and smiled, "Gaiki-san.." "Kiniki." Gaiki looked at Hioshi, then Kiniki, "I need to tell you both something," "Yes, Gaiki?" "I can no longer become an Oni." "What?!" "The only reason I survied is a ancient seal that the ONi's use. What it does is save an Oni from death. But there is a consequence, it takes all your Oni power to use the seal. My father taught me up. I used the seal long ago when you became a Indvidual Oni, because I was getting old. Now that I used it, my powers are very weak."

"Gaiki=san! Why would you do that?!" "For you Kiniki, cause I always wanted to help." "Gaiki-san...Now what? You cant henshin at all?" "I could..." "Thats great!" yelled HIoshi, "But, i would die. Because I would use my remaining life energy to do it." Kiniki banged his hand against the wall, "I am sorry Kiniki." Kiniki walked around the room, thinking of what was next. He sat down and put his face in his hands. He looked at Hioshi, "Hioshi, this world needs a Gaiki, you agree?" "Yeah of course." "Then, my plan is to still have myself and Gaiki train you." "Okay...." "Train you to do something I was too weak and not worthy enough to do." "Kiniki, what are you saying?!" Gaiki smiled at Kiniki, realizing what he was saying.

"Hioshi, will you inherit my name, and become Gaiki." Hioshi's eyes widened, "Really??" "Yes." "You are ready Hioshi." "Yes! I accept! I am Gaiki! I have an Oni name. I am going to become a.." "Shh. Your breaking my ear drums."

Gaiki was relased from the hospital that night. They returned to the Cabin. "Where did Tanki go?" asked Gaiki, "Who is that?" asked Hioshi. "Don't know. And Tanki is another Taiko Oni." Kiniki went outside, and saw a disk animal. He picked it up, "This isn't mine?" He put in on his Henshin Onsa and turned it, "****. Gaiki! Lets go....oh..."

Gaiki put his arm on Kiniki, "For now,my name is Kiba-san." "Ga-Kiba. I can deal with that." "So does that mean I am Gaiki?!" "What you say, Gaiki-kun." "Yes!" "Where is it?" "Down the hill. Not far. So Gaiki, wanna fight?" "Really?!" "You learn from experience."

Kiba handed the new Gaiki his Henshin Onsa, "Good luck, Gaiki." Kiba layed back on a chair, "I will make soup in a little Have fun." So Kiniki and the newly Gaiki went down the hill and saw Tanki, "Ready?" "I have been my whole life." Kiniki hit his Onsa off a tree, as Gaiki flicked it. They raised it to their heads, creating a symbol, as Green and brown flames covered Kiniki, and blue and black flames covered Gaiki. They slashed at the flames relaseing them and they became Onis.

"This is so cool!!!" "Don't get too cocky." Kiniki took his Ongekibo Rokusho from behind his back and started running at the Makamou, as Gaiki took his sticks from behind his back, "What are mine called?" "Ask Gaiki." Then, the Houji and Dime came, "You are...Oni" "In the flesh!" said Gaiki, "Gaiki take those two. I am going to help Tanki."
"Huh?!" The Houji and Dime transformed and Gaiki smirked, "Lets fight." Gaiki started attacking them as Kiniki ran at the Makamou. He jumped on top of it and started beating it to death, "Yo! Thanks for the help!" Kiniki took out his taiko belt and placed it on the Makamou, he raised his sticks, "Ongeki Da Hissatsu Hitchū Kata!!"

He beat and created a pure sound that destroyed the Makamou, then, Kiniki heard Gaiki yell, "Ongeki Da Funkotsu Saishin!!" he beat the Dime to death, as the Houji ran. Kinik ran over to Gaiki, "Where you learn that?" "Gaiki taught me it. " Kiniki laughed, "What a sly dog." Kiniki looked at Tanki, "You can go back to what you usely, whatever that is. Thanks for the help." Kiniki and the new Gaiki went back to the cabin, as Kiba, the old Gaiki made soup. "EAT UP!"
