If by that, you mean, "Why would a form based on Type Speed have Type Wilds weapon", Drive can use the Handle Sword in any mode (Sort of like the Medajalibur or Wizarswordgun).

I don't know, Type Fruits reminds me of those wondering samurai, like that big orange on Drive's head could be based on those big straw hats, the jingasa that they wore.

The first time Tomari use Handle Sword, he almost can't control where his swing will end and Belt tell him to rely on his instinct.
It is just only Tomari saying though, while I see it is just swing too fast and he control it just fine.
After that Tomari use that "turn" to control his swing.

Does Kouta wil get trouble wielding that sword or be just short scene of trading power without reference to the sword at all.

I just had a thought, why is Ryouma the only one returning. They should have also brought in Sid and Yoko as cyborgs to be a Robo-Yggdrasil team. It woukd be cool to see Dragon-Energy Arms on Sigurd and Marika. If they all fought Takatora again, he would hold nothing back because they're already dead. Just a thought.

Because that means less budget for Drive's side and more for Gaim's. Sigurd with Dragonfruit Energy Arms would be okay, but I think they would have to create a different version for Marika. Also, I suppose that the reason we get Ryouma back is because he made an artificial brain and a cyborg body and he stored all of his memories in (unless someone else retrieved his brain, which would be weird if not crushed, and decided to put it in a cyborg body). After all, both Sid and Minato betrayed him, so why would they not betray him again?
