Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 26 - "Baron's Genesis Transformation!"

Based on his 'Kazuraba Kouta' right before he shot him I thought it was pretty clear he shot him on impulse because he now believes the evil Kouta is ruining everything by telling Mai the truth about her friend being dead and then her siding with him over he. How dare she. But she'll come around....when Kouta's gone she'll see he was right...
If it hadn't been on impulse he would have just let Marika hit Kouta and hope she curbstomped him. As it happens Kouta was winning even before she tried to use the finisher.

Are you serious with this?

Damn I really hope Micchi gets his comeuppance within next month, he's reaching Basco levels of hate from me. And that makes it so hard to watch right now.

I think Micchy is close to winning the title Kusaka Jr. from Kiriyama. My god...

It looks like Baron is giving Ryugen a major beatdown in the next episode. I guess Micchy thinks that he can win Kaito over, completely forgetting the fact that Kaito despise cowards.
Seeing him getting his ass kicked by Baron is gonna be soooooooooo good.

Right now Kouta doesn't have any friends among the Riders, except for Zack. However that might change with Takatora & Oren.

Am I the only one that disagrees with this diagnosis that Micchi is psychotic? Am I missing something? I can't believe he's being compared to characters like Kusaka! I think he's on a slippery slope, but Micchi to me is more like...someone who was often the smartest one in the room and knew it, and now that he has power, he's let it go to his head a bit, thinks that makes him a grown up, but...he's doing what he thinks is right, and he's doing it out of a place of actual care and concern for his pals.

He's still a kid, and a kid who was never really allowed to do what he wanted to do except for the dancing, and that to him represents an innocence and happiness that's far behind him, so he's desperate to protect that aspect of his life and those who are still at that stage. (Mai being the best representative of that part of his life.) The point is, he's a kid who was forced to grow up too fast, with too many expectations piled on him, and he's being pulled in different directions and is a bit in over his head, but...that doesn't put him on a Kusaka level. He kind of reminds me of Liveman's Obular.

I mean, that's my take on the character. The actor doesn't help when he gets pissed and makes those wild eyes, but...

I think Kaito will come through for him, I really do. We have Kaito in the trailer defending him from Micchi, which at this stage means nothing more than "Kaito isn't evil" or "Kaito prefers to beat his opponents through STRENGTH and not cheating" (which was established early on), but with the storyline established between them so far, I believe Kaito will do the "right" thing and end up on the hero's side

I'm seeing a lot of people on different sites (the main one being ... surprise! Tumblr, but also fanboards) saying that Micchi has no right to get angry about anything as he is rich and too privileged and has no real problems, so if he gets upset about his brother/family controlling his life and dictating to him what he should be, he's just being a whiny spoiled brat. I don't agree with that, but there you go.

I think he's not so much concerned about his friends as wants to control them, particularly Mai, with whom he believes he's in love but also has an attitude of "if I can't have her, no one can." He wants to have absolute control over everything, including who will survive Project Ark, and from there to basically create his own little world in which he's king and rules over the lives of his friends and they're all pathetically grateful to him. He wanted Kouta to be part of this too, but since Kouta is fucking up his plans on both the Mai and Yggdrasill fronts, he now apparently just wants Kouta dead.

Huh? Micchi took a hit on purpose so that he will have a legitimate reason not to help Kouta out when fighting Malika. He still wants to appear to be a friend to Kouta.

The idea that Micchi thinks that keeping his friends in the dark is protecting them sound like someone living in a fantasy. That's not how reality works, especially when they are wondering what happened to Yuya. Kouta telling Mai the truth gave them closure. However Micchi thinks that Kouta has destroyed her happiness. And that slap is what unhinged him, to where he wants Kouta dead.

Which just goes to show he wasn't planning on shooting him. If they planned for Kouta to die there would be no point in taking the hit, he could have just teamed with Marika against Kouta.
