Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 22 - "A Seventh of the Truth"

But wont that mean they'd let the Earth turn into Helheim and then everyone would have to live life fighting off monsters?

Well, if they can't stop it, at least this way some people live. You may not be able to save everyone, but you'll at least give the ones you do a fighting chance, which is better than nothing. Now, I say get the blueprints out on the net so everyone with the resources can start producing them ASAP. Tell everyone about the problem and give them a way to assist. A lot of the infighting would be curbed by giving people something they can do about it, as a lot of it stems from the fear created by helplessness, but if people think they can do something about it, you'd be amazed by what they can accomplish.

Also when Takatora says Yggdrasil is the world's 'final hope', and with Kouta falling on the ground after realising that he killed Yuuya. I thought isn't this a much better way to lead to despair and giving birth to phantoms, rather than 'NOW DESPAIR FROM THE THOUGHT OF DEATH EVEN THOUGH I WON'T ACTUALLY KILL YOU!'.

Gaim is a better KR Wizard than KR Wizard.

After the episode, I wonder two things: First, is Kouta going going to use the Peach Energy Lock before he retires the Genesis Core in favor of Kachidoki Arms. And Second, how is Micchy going to explain that stunt to Mai and the rest of the team

Holy moly, so intense.

This show is really something else. The whole Scalar System and Project Ark stuff... I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Cool to see Zangetsu Shin finally get hit not once, but three times! And obviously the Orange phantom is going to be born from Kota's despair

So this is a decision between Open-source and Proprietary?:laugh::laugh:

Kouta's progressively getting better as a fighter. Yggdrasil severely underestimated him. They're obviously gonna have problems after Kouta steal Melon Energy.

Yggdrasil has triggered the defeat flag by trying to mind break Kouta by showing the truth of Yuya. That's only going to make him stronger

Now that he's found out, is he going to pull an episode 4 again and give up his Driver again? I mean, knowing that you accidentally killed your missing friend is sure to send someone hiding in the corner again.

I'll need the subs, but going by what has been said in this thread: 1 billion drivers? I feel for the poor Chinese factory sods who will have to break their backs making that many mass produced belts, though I suppose this will be over the course of the next ten years. Still, I suppose it's a lot more plausible plan than ZECT deciding to distribute a whole bunch of necklaces at the last minute to as many humans as possible to indirectly turn them into Worms.

I also love how as Marika and the Kurokages are fighting off the Inves, Ryoma is just sitting in his chair utterly unfazed, not reacting to what is going on and just calmly continuing to do his science. In fact, I didn't even realise he was there until he stood up and did his "yo, Kouta Kazuraba, how you doin'?". Still interested to see what the show has in store for what will presumably be the last Energy Rider left after next episode when they lose their Lock Seeds to a newly kleptomaniac Kouta.

Nah.

He's getting a new power-up next episode. This is going to be a case of Yggdrasil's plan utterly backfiring in on them, and as Kouta told Takatora by a stream in the forest a few episodes ago, he's not the same man as he was back in the fourth episode. He'll come out from this more pissed off and hardened this time round because he's still more conscious and aware of the stakes than ever.

Now this leaves Micchy, who despite his efforts, has failed to prevent all these terrible secrets and truths from finding their way to Kouta in the end. We all know he's about to grow more and more distant from him as this all transpires, so I wonder whether he will commit to a full formal face turn from Team Gaim by stepping up to defend his brother at the heat of the moment from Kouta. Or whether he'll continue to be more of a saboteur behind Gaim's lines.

It seems to me that Kouta taking stealing the Energy Riders Lock Seeds is to make sure they don't have power that they don't deserve. Most likely Ryouma will be the Last Energy Rider standing after ep 23.
