Huh, I guess it is but with updated graphics/design. I'm not too into Ganbarizing so I didn't even bother checking the site or anything. I just saw the news on tumblr.

Well, Gaim wasn't hyped THAT much was it? I mean, I wasn't really paying that good of attention then, but I don't remember a lot of "This is going to be SOOOOO good" beforehand, actually there seemed to be opposite vibe, a "this is gonna suck" attitude, and Gaim's earned it's good reputation in spite of poor expectations. But I could be wrong, perhaps mister Urobutchi's reputation is stronger than I gave it credit for.

You're not wrong. Some people still dislike, for whatever reason, but it's become a huge success.
