At this point it's getting easier and easier to say Surprise Future and this Drive Saga after are is non-canon / alternate timeline.

Lol. It's already confirmed by Toei that SF is in main timeline. Drive Saga... let's remember Gaiden and whole bunch of Riders who never mentioned outside it. Remember it? Than stop complaining about production that made after the end of the show.

Things in Gaim Gaiden being not mentioned doesn't affect Gaim's story, though.

Proto-10 is just a prototype, and there's no need to mention Idunn - don't you noticed how contained the fight in Zangetsu's Gaiden was? Kouta and the others, even Mitsuzane, never knew about her being Idunn. Heck I don't think Kouta even knew her. Tyrant is basically just another Overlord for Kaito to destroy, he doesn't exactly care about them. Duke's Gaiden is way before the main story, while Knuckle's Gaiden is way after.




Chaser's Saga on the other hand, has an Ultimate Evolution Roidmude during the middle of the main story, and Ultimate Evolution is something that is needed in the main story.

Also, I'm not complaining, just pointing out :laugh:
I recall someone else some time ago mentioning Surprise Future being non-canon due to Ghost Newton Damashii, so I'm just agreeing based on what I see.

But yeah, I'll already forget about the inconsistency in continuity anyway when the sub for the Saga finally arrives. It's not something that will be in my mind forever

Well back in around Ep 35-36, Brain did mention how he wouldn't kill off Chase because he still has a use for their plan, but it was never mentioned after, I guess this would somehow resolve this point.

It's nice to see Drive Dead Heat again.
We haven't seen it since episode 26.
I find it interesting that this is 2nd Drive movies that involves time traveling, where Surprise Future took place in future, while this movie is going to take place in past.

I wish Shinnosuke at first transforms into Deadheat Mach, then comments about the helmet, and actually flips it back.

Would be hilarious (and a nice acknowledgement about the way the helmet works)
