No, it wouldn't. You're taking a franchise for kids and trying to make it "adult," which is almost always terrible.

Plus, action shows on Adult Swim are relegated to after midnight on Saturdays. Not the place to get the audience they were looking for.

It's all about marketing. Fail to market it, fail to produce a "set" of toys, fail to advertise the show, fail to put it in a proper time slot and IT WILL FAIL REGARDLESS OF QUALITY.

Very true and another reason could be that the CW4Kids audience wasn't the right audience to target. Yes it was a kids show, but a very different kind of kids show. KRDK fits with a more Toonami-type of audience, and the CW4Kids doesn't have that.

KRDK might not be anywhere close to the Oscar awards but at least it is one of the solid shows ever made in the adaptation category.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It was growing super strong as the season went on, and blew PR RIP away in terms of characters and plot. While in it's current state I'm not sorry to see Power Rangers go, Dragon Knight will be sorely missed.

No. It. Wouldn't. It'd be a 30-minute toy commercial skewing WAY too old for anybody that would actually want to buy them. It wouldn't fit with ANYTHING on the lineup. Plus, if you think it'd be seen as a PR ripoff NOW, what do you think would happen when it's airing for people who more than likely feel they've WAY outgrown PR?

I disagree. I think the writers catered to an older crowd rather than a younger one, and that hurt the show.

We've seen plenty of kids' shows skewing more toward an older crowd but still being able to attract the younger one. Avatar, anyone?

It should have had some more pree 11 year old humor and fun.

So the chances of KRDK getting any DVD releases is slim, on account of low ratings (at least in the US), and low ratings is what got it canceled. Then this makes me think of shows like My So-Called Life and Freaks and Geeks. Those shows didn't get to see a second season, yet were popular among fans enough to warrant DVD releases. I guess KRDK isn't that lucky. Then when you come right down to it, KRDK's demographic isn't the same as the two shows I mentioned. Perhaps it's all about the demographic that the shows are trying to reach?
