NO! If they work for Bandai they are EVIL and only care about the toys if they work for Toei they are GOOD are actually trying to make a story! THEY CAN'T BE BOTH!

Oh, come on.

For both, it's just a business. Bandai makes the toys which bring in the cash, Toei does the promotion, and they're both happy!

I think it was Iga that said this but most recent Kamen Rider's creature designs and whatnot are done by Banda' Production Staff.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!*explodes*

But I always thought the story came while they were making up the suits. This is hurting my head.....

But what about that Imagin Anime thing when they showed how they made Den-O they made the suit and then came up with the plot but trains and stuff where always included.

Look at it this way:

The real E-True Hollywood Story of Den-O...

Toei: Hey Bandai, got any good gimmicks lately?

Bandai: Oooh! I know the Nihon-jins love trains!

Toei: Oh! Yeah! They love time-travel too!

Bandai: Yep! And they love traditional folktales too!

Toei: Whoopdidoo!!! We now have a show! :buttrock:

EDIT:

Bandai: Hey Toei, don't forget to make it seem like we came up with the story first before he merch ok?

Suit and Imagin come first, then plot. But I doubt it was the writers themselves that made it and it was Bandai's production team. I mean, the creature designers have to work somewhere, they can't be hired to do big name shows unless they're affiliated with a toy making juggernaut like Bandai.

But it said in the video that the production crew is made up of a script writers, agents, a director, and a producer. I don't know what an agent is but maybe that guy works for bandai....and if he was played by Kintaros that means....0_0 Bandai is run by sumo wrestlers!

First the producers come up with the concept for the show. Then the designers start drawing up the suit, props, etc. for the producer to approve. Next the writers write the stories for the show.

At the same time, the casting for the characters start. As well as Bandai starts making the toys based on whatever designs the producers approve of.

In short the whole thing is one huge business to them. They can't think like fans, because if they do they won't be able expand on creative ideas. Thus the franchise itself would die out.
