It's also entirely possible a separate explanation is coming for Ryu and we just haven't seen it yet.

But I don't find it unbelievable either way. There are people who are naturally compatible with certain memories, why shouldn't there be people naturally immune to them?

Oh for goodness sake here let me give you an abridged backround on natural immunities. There are some people in this world that are natrually immune to colds or the flu while rare is possible. A Dopant that changes the biology of a human probably works much like a virus or any other diseases. So in essence ryu is natrually immune to whatever dopants that change the biology of a human give off. Do you understand now?
And it doesn't need to be written in better really it's basically common sense.

They do make sense in the context of the show. Just saying. Simple brain power can figure it out. Seems like half the time people want everything handed to them on a silver platter. Which sometimes just isn't needed.

When it comes to explanation, "more" does not necessarily mean "better." That is the point people are trying to make.

And if it's not a big deal, why are you getting so upset? People are just trying to discuss the issue that you brought up.

Notice how neither Ryubee nor Terror appeared in the preview for 47? What are the chances of Terror not being the final boss, like what some of the earlier rumors said?

It sounds like Foundation X is picking up where Museum left off.

Television's summary of episode 46:
Ryubee is planning to sacrifice Phillip to Wakana in order for her to become the "Shrine Maiden of the Earth". Shotaro is afraid of Terror's powers. Ryubee is planning to fuse Wakana with the Gaia Impact, which contains all the memories of the earth. The meaning of "Shrine Maiden of the Earth" is actually a living Gaia Memory. This is why a control program, which is Phillip, is needed. He's the only one who can use the Evil Tail.

Bro's summary of 46:
Shotaro is almost possessed by Terror's fear. Phillip has been kidnapped by Ryubee and he assembles the whole Sonozaki family at the dining table.
After that Phillip is able to call Shotaro and tell him that he's becoming a sacrifice. When Kyoko hears this, she decides to steal the Evil Tail from the Sonozaki family.

Episode 47 is called "残されたＵ／フィリップからの依頼" The U Left Behind / A Request from Phillip

Station's summary of the episode:
After the collapse of the Sonozaki family, Phillip asks Shotaro to find Wakana.
Kazu is taking care of Wakana and for the sake of Saeko, he has taken over Ryubee's plans.

TV Life's summary of 47:
Phillip can still sense the existence of Wakana, he begs Shotaro to find her. Kazu becomes the Utopia Dopant and attacks Ryu. Phillip is, for some reason, refusing to transform into Double.

Episode 48 still has no name, but Station has a summary for it.
For some reasons Shotaro's hesitating to become W. Ryu is heavily wounded and the plan to rescue Wakana has failed. On top of that, Kazu is trying to hurt Phillip mentally by attacking people close to him.
