I have to put in a word about the RX/Black episodes. Kurata was totally still believable in his part and it was so awesome how everything was shot. I really LOVED how they used authentic sound effects and everything while at the same time making his henshins quick like what the Heisei Riders have. It was like a perfect fusion of classic and modern approach! :buttrock:
Also with the Kotaro eps it just felt like what you would get if the show were able to actually live up to it's own premise and have the real actors as their characters in play. Having none of those idiotic Final Form Rides helped to. My only complaint is my usual one which is Kuuga needlessly out of the action. But at least having the reason be that Onedera is staying by Natsumi's side was a bit better than the way he's been written out of the action in some of the other episodes.
This arc also featured something else that brought me great joy, Tsukasa punching Kaitoh. It's like FINALLY someone had a logical reaction and got fed up with a dickweed secondary Rider constantly doing his dickweed thing. Really they could do an entire episode of this and if they threw in Takumi and Mari punching Kusaka it would be perfection!
Seriously though, the RX/Black arc was a lot was a lot of fun because even though there were things I would like to see more of or more character interaction, what they did was really awesome. It was really like getting to see an old friend again...or maybe more like a kickass uncle. Kurata has still got it. Man, just give him his own show again and call it Kamen Rider I Got This Son!
