Kamen Rider Decade rumor/picture thread

They said during the announcement presser that the worlds would be different from what you've seen before. So it's not like they put forth false pretenses. Why is it such a big issue?

It's a big issue because the whole thing feels like a cop-out. Like Adrienzo said, were there really so many things barring Toei from doing things a different way? or did they just not want to?

Everyone need to shut the hell up about recast and enjoy the show.

It's good to know dissent is tolerated in the fandom. Thanks for reminding us.

I translated those comic strips, the best I could if anyone wanted to know what it said. Who would of thought that taking a french class in high school would come in handy. lol

They don't feel like a cop-out to everyone, though, and it's not people trying to rationalize Toei's stupidity or anything. I personally went into Decade pretty open to anything, and I like what we've gotten so far, most of it, what bothers me is when the characters in the roles of the Riders end up lackluster. I really disliked Blade's world because, despite my love of the world setup, I couldn't stand the new guys who took up the roles of the Riders.

I don't think it's Toei not really caring or just being dumb, I think it's all just within what Shou Aikawa has in mind for what he wants to happen with this series within any monetary constraints that may weigh on his mind. Personally I'm loving Decade so far, and aside from the Blade world episodes, there really hasn't been a single episode I disliked.

I'm still the sort who believes we will eventually see the older Riders return, either in a movie or towards the final episodes. If the 30 episode rumor is true (has anyone ever actually found a copy of the magazine it's reported to be from?) then I believe the final episodes will deal with putting the world back in order and that we will see the originals return. The only people I have my doubts about are Joe Odagiri, Hiro Mizushima, and Takeru Satou, since they seem to be as "mainstream" popular as can be right now.

Well, what's the different way? Bringing it down to just the main characters, that's nine actors you gotta hunt down, see if they're interested. If so, you gotta contract them and pay them. If not, you gotta haggle with them or their agents, hope they agree, then contract and pay them.

If it's voice acting only, then you're golden, they phone in the dialogue. But then, you have Riders appearing with the original voices, but they never henshin. That's half the frickin fun. Lame.

If it's full appearances, you have to schedule around their other commitments (filming movies or other television shows).

With the way they're doing it, they wrote everything in the order they felt like it, then they looked at the scripts, and said "I need a 16 year old for Faiz", and the casting director went out, found a no-name 16 year old actor, paid him in three cheeseburgers and dreams and called it a day.

Essentially, doing it right would be a huge pain in the ass, and even then it probably wouldn't have worked out.

I understand if it isn't what you envisioned, but do you understand how feasible what you envisioned was?

And that's even crossing our fingers for an appearance in a movie or the last episode.

snipped golden paragraph

Yes, another follower. A cult shall be formed. Anticade!

seriously though, for the past few days I've been catching up, I've been forcing myself to find the light in this series, but there is very little. What's keeping my interest is Diend, but he's a huge puzzle that just can't be solved. sooo..

To put it bluntly. Decade's story is fucked up. I can't sit and watch it with out, saying "wtf?" Adrienzo said everything. So I can't be repetitive.

but one thing, you can tell toei is lost, because of the final form rides. There fitting it in because they can't think of anything else to attract the kiddies..*cough* that's my theory. :confused2

BINGO! Thanks!

Do you have to quote an entire image post every time? It's especially bad when you do it as the next poster, but even here they're still on the fricken same page!. There's no reason to quote the entire image again.

If you feel the absolute need to quote the image to make reference to it take out the IMG tag so it just shows up as a link.

A good rule of thumb is, if the image is on the last five pages do not quote it. Any older then that and it does serve to refresh people on it.

Of course that's what they are.

Den-Liner? Castle Dran? Zect Miser? Perfect Zecter?

Is this new? As I said before, if someone slaps you twice, why be shocked if they do it again?

That's like expecting Final Fantasy not to have androgynous leads and Gundam to return to it's real-robot roots. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
