You forgot bad character designs for all except three characters, and one only gets in my list of good designs because she has big breasts.

Cardboard characters? Flimsy villains that make the make some of the random "evil for the hell of it" villains in tokusatsu seem deep? Really bad romantic stories? Tons of stuff make 00's second season bad.

Though my point wasn't 00's quality or lack thereof-- if you like it, good for you. My point was more that the two-season production format had lead to a lot of problems that, in turn, have made the show a lot less profitable and popular than it might be otherwise. So why would Bandai want Toei to produce Decade that way?

Fortunately if Dukemon's rumor pans out, Toei's not, and we'll get a steady stream of 50+ eps-- even if they're disguised as two "different" series.

Reals are as much toy-selling monstrosity as Supers (or tokusatsu for that matter). Being made to turn a profit for somebody doesn't make a property bad. All of the all-time best Reals-- First Gundam, Dougram, VOTOMS, Macross-- supported huge toy lines and were designed to do so. Kamen Rider and Sentai are the same.

The good series are still good watches. Of course, it helps sell merchandise if your series is basically good and about something people will care about... Toei, Sunrise, and Bandai don't seem very good at remembering that all the time.

I figure it might be like BLACK and BLACK RX, in it's two different series, but it may as well be one since RX's first episode came only a week after BLACK's. Though the second series probably wouldn't be that long.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm hoping for. Black to Black RX is a pretty continuous watch, if you can get over Black RX deciding to go for a lighter tone and some of the goofier alt-forms. Those elements aside, Black/RX feel like parts of an organic whole to me.

Okay, that's just plain stupid. With Rider shows that get 49 episodes for ONE set of characters and a single story, they can't ever give us a truly conclusive ending. So there's no way they're going to be able to do it with a million different characters and a million stories in thirty episodes. I'm sorry, but TOEI really fucked this one up.

Stupid move. Pure and simple. The only way that this is possibly going to work is if the story kicks all kinds of ass and I don't think that's going to be able to happen.

So Decade will be the shortest Heisei KR series then huh?

Without the full context of the magazine, I can't say. I would actually say it looks to me like the star's joking around, were it not for the fact that this has been rumored for a while before this. So no further comment from me at the moment.
