Kamen Rider Decade rumor/picture thread

My hopes aren't very high for this to be honest. I hope it surprises me the way Den-O did though. 2008 was a pretty big drag for the most part as far as Tokusatsu is concerned.

I honestly don't see the point of bringing back the Riders if they are aren't bringing back the actors as well, which seems to be the case so far. Just seems like it's going to be "Toei's Big Gay Bishounen Bash."

Oh, no, you understand the point quite well-- just, y'know, the merits of that point are highly debatable. :sweat:

Back when the first info for Decade floated around I thought to myself "Man, this sounds like a video game plot-- like, this should be Super Rider Taisen and Decade is the original main character..." I'm expecting the show to be written in that spirit, especially if they attach new characters to all of the Rider suits.

That said, it's a pretty thin premise. Unless the new Substitute Riders are really fun characters or the metaplot ends up being somehow really interesting, I'm sort of expecting Decade to turn out kind of bland and repetitive. I hope I'm wrong, of course-- I want the like the new Kuuga.

They're keeping the reins tight this year, which is funny since Decade is everywhere. There's at least two SD figures of him already.
