You need to watch more Kiva then just the eps you did. It really heats up and is pretty good. But yeah I'm gonna also go out on a limb and predict Decade OWNING everything.
I second that statement. Kiva got a whole lot better as it got in its 40's. 555 (somehow) got more depressing, Blade had a good ending and that's all I'm gonna say about that series. Hibiki...:redface2:. Kabuto was beyond help (Tsurugi's episodes were nice though). Den-O finally got down to business but some episodes **cough 45 and 46** were just BORING

is decade the first rider series that as far as we know does not deal with time travel at all ?.. that we will have seen in a long while ?..
I find it sort of ironic that we are not getting time travel but sliding :S its like ... geez... they almost may as well just time travel :S

I'm still wondering why Blade didn't get this treatment since Blade is the 5th anniversary. Although there were subtle references in the series that reference the past riders in Blade, e.g. When Mustuki was playing Basketball the sign in the background said "Atsuki (sp?)" and "Shoigchi"
and the battle where Blade sealed the Thunder Deer Undead, when Blade did his first kick finisher the camera angles and the death effect were near exact same as Agito's first Rider Kick finisher against the Unknown.

But yeah, now that you mention it, I think the last KR that didn't involve at least a little time travel was Hibiki... Sliding is the same general "ish" without being exactly the same. I admit that I've been on the verge of shrieking like a fangirl since I first found out what Decade was going to be about.
No one seems to care about 5th anniversaries very much. Go figure. But I never noticed most of those things you mentioned about Blade! Probably mostly because I watched KR in reverse order and hadn't seen Kuuga through Faiz yet.
