At first it sounds cool, but then all the massive plot holes appear. Not to mention it makes tons of sentai warriors look like idiots and hippocrits.

If they did it that way from the start, it would be okay, but 35 years in.... it just doesnt work.

I don't think that Toei cares about plot holes or continuity. If they want the past teams in future series or future sentai movies, then they'll be in, regardless of what happened in their own series.

Just like with the special episode (episode 0) of Turboranger where Battle Fever J through Liveman were involved.

Or in Super Sentai World where Fiveman through Dairanger were there.

Or in Gaoranger Vs. Super Sentai where the Red senshi's of Akaranger to TimeRed appeared along with their mechas near the end of the movie.

And of course, Gokaiger itself & Super Hero Taisen with all the teams of Goranger to Goseiger (including Go-Busters).

Hasn't Toei's policy on Rider continuity changed at least 3 times in the last 5 years?

5 years? I'd say that there were only two changes:
No continuity (pre-Decade) -> There's continuity, but most shows are in standalone universes, aside from W and its successors (Decade) -> There's continuity and all Rider stories took place in a single main universe (Fourze)

I guess you could consider OOO another change, but considering stuff like the movie references (that made no sense), the anniversary episodes and the cameo of Fourze's characters in the final episode, I'd say the position was still the same there, they just didn't care about putting effort to make it actually work on any level.

that's the worst cameo scene i've seen. they are desperately trying to show off Basco's badass that the way he retreated is so not making any sense...

seriously, everytime he retreated, that's because he is partially beaten up...here he didn't even break enough sweat...

I don't, I just prefer CG (when it is well done, of course) over puppets. Don't need to be that radical dude :thumbs:
